I use self tanner all the time. I’ve been using it for over 10 years now - I’m 26 and I’ve been using self tanners in different forms since I was 16 or 15. I am a super pasty white ginger naturally, but I bleach my hair blonde every six months, and I self tan pretty much year-round.it’s really important for me to keep a soft natural tan, I have enough experience that I am pretty good at making it look natural and I avoid orange tinted tanners at all costs. That being said, I wanted to try some new products out this summer, and some of them were … not so great. They would initially work pretty good but they faded terribly, think super blotchy, patchy… You get it.I use a Korean exfoliating mitt normally to help exfoliate rougher patches like elbows and ankles, but even that wasn’t getting out the splotchiness & dark stains that had appeared in those rough areas.I was looking on Amazon for some thing that’s specifically meant for self tanner exfoliation and I stumbled upon the sponges - and yall. i LOVED them. I think this is some thing I will be purchasing going forward indefinitely.I love how hardcore the abrasive side of the sponge is - you can really do some aggressive af exfoliating with these things but the other side of the sponge gives you a more gentle, smooth & soft exfoliating experience - it’s amazing to do the abrasive side on legs, elbows, and feet and then buff those areas out with the softer side. the soap within has lasted 10+ showers now shockingly!! I’m glad i got a two pack bc the first one has impressed me so much. at only around $5/each it’s more than given me a good value for the price. not even my $50 body scrubs give these kind of results and those don’t come with a sponge!!!

Smells great! One side is rough & exfoliates, the other side is soapy & soft. Great for before you use fake tanner or just to wash your skin in general. I love it.

I thought these were like the Spongelle brand sponges. The "callous" one is the closest, the body sized one is soft, there is no buffer side to it. They smell nice and are very soapy. I liked the callous sponge because it did have an exfoliant side, but it is very small. It's a good product, it just wasn't the product I really wanted.

I use this product as instructed and I absolutely LOVE the results! The spongeables leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth!

If a loofah and a bar of soap had a baby :) Some say it’s too scratchy, however I love the level of exfoliating (especially after a long day at the beach!). It says good for 20+ uses but I’d argue closer to 15 or slightly less. Perfect for two weeks abroad and, better yet, not a liquid so perfect for travel!
