Great to have before you start the teardown
Needed this for a trans fluid change on a Tuff Torque k46 transmission from a 2013 Cub mower. I always replace the seal after removing it. Seems heavier made than the OEM installed at the factory. No dealer nearby has these in stock. Pulling the trans to dump out the fluid( no drain plugs) sounds like a big job, but it's really not that bad. Takes a little over an hour after you've done it before. These caps make the job less stressful in case you damage the seal on the original while removing it. Glad Amazon had these in stock. Faster than the dealer, delivered to my door.

Went to service a “non- serviceable” transaxle on my John Deere riding mower, all went as expected right up and to the point that I saw the original cap weeping thru the top membrane of rubber. I didn’t want to risk contamination of the new transaxle 15w- 50 synthetic oil, so I jumped on Amazon and ordered this one. Exactly what I needed, fair price, fast delivery and the slight delay of getting the mower back together worked in my favor! I didn’t have to bleed any trapped air pockets out of the transaxle, it did it itself.
