awesome plus it came with a pet.......
So I'm quite happy with this. I even bought more. Very healthy duckweed. It came in a tiny little bag all stuffed in there but it was very much alive still. After about a week we did get quite the surprise though. There was a baby water snail in with it. It's cute and man can that thing cruise around the tank. After many attempts we have still failed to name it though. I ended up buying a ton more in hopes of maybe getting another snail plus my chickens and fish freaking love duckweed so its a win win situation. I'm not saying if you buy it you will get a cool new snail pet too, I'm saying you might.

HORRID SMELL/CONTAINER LEAKAGE
First off you get a very generous portion, well over 100 plants. Everything besides that was not good. The smell was HORRID! There was other plant matter(small stem plant trimmings) in the cup besides the duck weed that was rotting and lead to the dreadful stench. It also came in a urine sample cup and the lid wasn't on all of the way so water had leaked out everywhere inside the package and left the duck weed with little to no water. There was a snail in with the product so be prepared for hitchhikers. I ended up having to discard 90% of the product to get rid of the smell and all of the ghastly looking plants that had been without water. I will avoid purchasing products from this seller in the future.

Great product!! Beware of stinky though!!
Way more than 100 plants per container! Wow! They were all alive seemingly when I got them, though it did take a little while to receive the package. I wasn’t too bothered by that. My biggest surprise was a HORRID stench coming from the container. I don’t know if it was the plants, the water, or the container itself, but it was enough to make my stomach turn. I couldn’t even take the time to transfer the plants to another container— and I worry about putting them in my freshwater tank just yet. It was a rotten egg kind of smell. I saved a good portion of what was delivered and they’re under my grow light and I’ll make sure the smell is gone and they’re in stable condition before adding them to my tank. Everything apart from that has been great so far. The plants are quite small but I understand they just need some time to grow. Fingers crossed!

Good but messy
They all arrived alive and I got WAY more than 100. At LEAST 1000 but they are extremely tiny like the size of a pinhead so I didn’t anticipate that when I put them in my tank, the filter would just blow them around everywhere in the water and start sucking the plants up. It was a mess and very difficult to get all the plants out of the tank and move them outside but I can’t fault the seller for that because they just sold me the plant. It came fast and well packaged and there was no horrible smell like other people were saying. But one thing was that it came with a free sample of some weird shady tea that claims to cure malaria and maybe even covid 19 ?? Idk but the overall experience is pleasant so if you have a tank with stagnant water that you don’t mess around with the scape very much, this is a good option

Okay product
Bought the duckweed to use in my frog pond. The plant did not last more than a couple of months. 100 sounds like a lot of plants, but the duckweed was tiny. The leaves were about the size of a piece of rice. Would recommend ordering more than 5 so the plant has a chance to survive.

Died the next day
The duckweed was delivered quickly and after a quick rinse , I put them in the pond. The next morning they had shriveled up and died. I had heard that killing duckweed was impossible, I must be one of the unlucky or lucky few who can do it.

Not 100...more like 1000
These came quickly..mailed in a simple ziploc inside an envelope with at least 500 leaflets with roots. I put a handful in each indoor fish tank (Africans and tropical freshwater) and gave another 300 to a friend with a small Coy tank. All the fish are fat and happy and the duckweed is multiplying faster than they can eat it. Well worth a few bucks!update: 1+ yrs: My fish ate them like candy but several years later and I still have a few floaters in the african fish tank. The Coy on the other hand...COY LOVE THEM. Wish I could find a grower closer to home...
