Great quality and customer service; love them but a challenge to install
First and foremost - these are wonderful blinds. Obviously high quality and arrived programmed for my window sizes. There is a learning curve with the installation - you have to get the hardware aligned JUST right in order to get the valance installed. I also had trouble with the instructions for the remote, but the Yoolax app was easy to understand and so weāre just using that in our living room since we have five windows with the blinds (you CAN group them together on the remote, but the app was more intuitive). We bought a sixth one for a guest bathroom and are using the remote there which is working fine (just need to get the remote into āsetting modeā and then hold the reset button on the valance until the blinds ājogā and the Bluetooth sends a signal to pair the remote). Overall we would recommend these for the quality and price, but pack your patience for installing!

Problem Solved Great Product
The media could not be loaded. Our new house has some very high windows that take in a ridiculous amount of sunlight from late morning to afternoon. We have lots of beautiful pics from our travels on the wall and we wanted to protect them from fading in the sunlight. Originally we bought curtains for the 2 high sidelights and that helped a great deal, as there are windows below them as well, so we killed 2 birds with one stone. However, the middle high window is directly over the fireplace so a long curtain or even a short curtain for that matter didnāt work. When I saw these smart blinds that work with Alexa I thought they might be too good to be true. But after install you will see from my video that they work better than expected. Other than the tall ladder, the install was really simple as compared to the other 50+ smart items we have in our house. For me, the best part was not needing to connect them to a 3rd party app in order to connect them to Alexa. Before hanging them we made sure they were fully charged and connected them to Alexa with 1 easy step. Simply push the little button and hold for 6 seconds as the blinds cycle in and out quickly twice. After you see the curtain shimmy the second time you simply tell Alexa to discover your devices. It took just seconds. I also went into the Alexa app, renamed them and put them into a group called The Blinds. Once I got them installed into the opening I tested them with the remote. No problem. I then tested them individually with an Alexa command. I then tested the group. The only 2 challenges were getting the first blind the snap into the brackets. Pressing directly in front of the bracket helped as did moving the unit from side to side. Eventually it popped right in. Also 1 of the 3 blinds did not work initially with the Alexa command when tested. Although it worked with the remote and was listed in the devices in the Alexa app, Alexa kept saying that function was not available on the particular blind. Since the others were working fine I simply removed the device from Alexa, climbed the ladder and held the button for 6 seconds and 2 curtain shimmies, then did the Alexa discover my devices again. This time it connected and worked perfectly upon giving the command. They look much nicer than expected and I love the zebra mode that lets filtered light in when needed. They seem great and certainly do the job. Very impressed with this product.

I recently purchased smart shutters from a major appliance store, and while I was initially skeptical after a previous disappointing experience, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this product. The measurements I provided were spot on, the material used was top-notch, and assembly was a breeze.The smart features work seamlessly, allowing for smooth operation, but I did encounter some challenges with the manualās instructions for programming. However, despite the less-than-user-friendly manual, the overall excellence of the product outweighs this minor inconvenience.One thing to note is that a Bluetooth router is required, but considering the thousands of dollars saved compared to other options, itās a small price to pay. The installation instructions were clear and straightforward, making the process hassle-free.Despite the hiccup with the smart setup, I am thoroughly impressed with these smart shutters and will definitely be purchasing more in the future. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cost-effective and efficient window covering solution.

Add Thread Zigby Gateway first
The media could not be loaded. Got the blinds with solar panel. Installation was easy and I have no complaints about the blinds themselves. They look very nice and work well with just the remote. However, since these are āsmart devicesā, I preferred to use the app. Adding devices to the Yoolax app was not easy. You have to press the reset button in order to pair the blinds to the app but the reset button is hard to get to after blinds have been installed. Then while blue lights are flashing, instructions said to choose BLE blinds. Well that never worked. Instead, you have to choose Zigby Roller Shades, configure Thread Zigby Gateway first (I had to connect this directly to my router, wireless connection would not work) after which you can finally add the blinds. The gateway instructions also said to download the Brand App which cannot be found. After blinds were added to the Yoolax app, you can add them to Alexa by linking your Yoolax account. It took me a several hours to figure all these out. I still need to figure out how to add my favorite settings on the remote & Alexa. As far as the Yoolax app, some of the instructions are in Chinese. Also while editing one of my blinds (i have two), i cannot hit the back button to return to the main screen. I have to close the app & go back in to edit the next one. On the remote, i still havenāt been able to group the two blinds. I guess i need to spend more hours to figure it out. I would still recommend. I hope they last a long time.
