Burt's Bees Shea Butter Hand Repair Cream, 3.2 Oz (Package May Vary)

Love this cream! Never irritates my skin. Everyone in my family has started using it now. However, it does have a bit of a strong, almost medicinal smell.

I’ve been a Burt’s Bee’s fan since before it was cool, I’m talking 20+ years ago. I’ve also been an RN for almost 39 years. We wash our hands A LOT, hospital paper towels are like fine sand paper and to be honest? Super cheap. I think I am an expert on advising what hand cream works, believe me I’ve tried them all. I’ve had countless colleagues tout this hand cream or that hand cream. THIS IS THE ONLY ONE THAT WORKS! So the scent? to me it smells medicinal for lack of a better term. I honestly wouldn’t care what it smells like as I don’t get the cracks in the corners of my finger nails that are so painful and not to mention invite an infection. My hands are smooth and not red with tiny micro cuts in them. This cream has been my one and only go to for years.

This hand cream delivers. I absolutely LOVE the smell. It's a little greasy so I use it at bedtime. It sinks in quickly and does not stay greasy for too long. Very healing balm. It heals the cracks I get on my fingertips. LOVE Burt's brand.

Bought this for my partner, who's a mechanic. He was complaining of how dry his hands are from the constant scrubbing he has to do throughout the day everyday and the soaps are quote drying to his skin causing dryness and cracking, this led to pain any time he needed to keep his hands wet for any extended period of time. The smell is not bad and no perfumes is a plus, along with the natural ingredients. The texture is creamy and thick. It does take a bit to soak in but to be expected with such a thick lotion.

This product is actually recommended by UPS drivers. It doesn’t smell that good but works great. You can always mix with a nicer smelling lotion.

This brand makes great hand creams, however, I don’t really care for the scent of this one. I typically use the honey & grape seed and it smells wonderful. I mistakenly ordered the shea butter, but cannot get past the unpleasant smell of it and won’t use it. I already tossed both boxes, so I’m not able to return them. I’ve only given 3 stars because of the unpleasant scent.

I'll start off by saying the smell of this hand cream might not be for everyone, but I've grown to be fond of it over time. My boyfriend describes the smell as "ditch weeds" but would enjoy me putting it on his very dry hands so he, too, has become fond of it but doesn't like to admit it. I first tried this hand cream as a small sample size in the Burt's Bees "Hand Repair Kit" which I would recommend trying if you may be unsure if you'd like the smell of it. The hand cream is very thick and rather oily. A little goes a long way and will soak in to your hands pretty quick if you only put on a thin layer. Put it on too thick and your hands will be oily and slippery for a couple hours, so don't do that. It does leave your hands feeling very soft after a few uses. I have eczema and sensitive skin, and this hand cream has kept my hands feeling moisturized without causing any irritation. If you can get past the interesting smell, your hands will thank you for it.

I live in a semi arid part of the country and have always developed painful cracks in my skin on my fingers and thumbs, especially in the dry winter months. And, over the years, I have tried about everything to moisturize my hands. I finally found this product and it works for me. I rub it in before bed and it does a great job of moisturizing my hands. It does have a scent, which I find pleasant. It is not greasy, but it does leave a film on my hands, which is why I apply it before bed. I have used this product for awhile now and I recommend it.

I love this brand - but this hand cream is not the best. It's not that it doesn't work, it just has a rather unpleasant smell which I don't personally like.

Me encanta BurtBees, y esta crema de karité esta deliciosa. La humectación de todos los productos de línea es buenaza y los olores riquísimos. Intento rotar para ir conociendo más productos, ninguno me ha decepcionado.
