decent but not reliable. no good for a party
The sound comes out with decent fidelity, but there is an occasional crackle which I find irritating. This is especially obvious between tracks. You could not use this at a party as the crackles over a loud speaker system would be very unpleasant.I had the same issue with calls not coming through as other users have had.Once I get fed up of this, I will invest in wireless headphones.

Ok, but does crackle now and then even with Bose headphones.
Works generally ok but does crackle a bit, and yes I did the whole recommended restart the iPhone plug in after etc and it still crackles now and then, and that’s with Bose QC15 noise cancelling headphones.

When connecting the earphone jack with this adapter, it's making electrical noise. not sure if it could damage your phone or expensive headphone.

The sound quality is good but..
The sound quality is good close to original one. It’s a bit big and It has noise when the music is off.

Broke after a couple of uses
After a couple of uses I found that unfortunately the adaptor broke - the metal cover got loose and now it’s really hard to fit in. I thought it was only that but when I plugged it in last night and connected to my phone, my original jack apple phones didn’t work. So in the end, not only it’s falling apart but also it doesn’t serve it’s purpose. That’s why I have to give it 1 star.I would like to get a replacement or a refund.

Worked intermittently to start with (after following troubleshooting notes supplied with) but gave up the ghost after a few uses. Lightening port in my phone was cleaned out and seems fine in general so guessing it's a product issue.
