Very made made harness for my actually trained service dog. The organization that trained my service dog closed down due to budget cuts at the state level so when I needed a new vest i found this company. I'm pleased with the product, though not pleased that anyone can buy them. Please do not represent your pet as a service animal. It makes it much harder for disabled people who actually have service animals.

This Service Dog harness is the best I've found. I have a MinPin so he's small but sturdy. This harness fits him just right and is very sturdy. I feel good knowing he's securely fastened to the strong D ring on the back. Also, when necessary I can easily pick him up by the durable handle on the back - I can get my whole hand through the handle, which means the dog is balanced and safe. All in all, my dog doesn't mind this harness at all because it fits him well, the sturdiness makes him feel secure, and I'm at ease knowing he's safe and happy and can do the job he's trained to do.

We ordered the 15" to 19" girth size, as our two Yorkies are at 18" girth. We found that when traveling in the car, with the pups in their car seats latched in by the D-Ring of this harness, that they were able to get their forepaws up and out of the harness. The male's harness has to be modified because the part that goes from the chest to the girth is too long, and he urinates onto the harness instead of the ground. The "Service Dog" signage also has letters lifting off. Probably due to them wearing their harness while in a carrying pouch on our chests. The material is nice and sturdy and appear to be well made. But not 100% ready to go out of the box. The ADA cards are nice to have though. We had to hand them out only twice, but the vests themselves did serve well.

Very durable vest. My service dog has been using this for going in 2 years and it shows minimal wear. It doesn’t constrict her movement. Very pleased.

The vest is beautifully made. I like everything about it except for its weight. It is hard as a rock. My little dog cowered after I tried it on him. It must feel as if I have enslaved him. He is a registered therapy dog and is used to wearing that required piece of clothing. I am wondering why no one has stated how stiff this harness is. As much as I love it, I am guessing that by tomorrow it will be going back to Amazon. It's just like poured cement. I can't do that to him.

I bought this just for the harness, I don't use the patch it comes with cause my dog isn't a service animal. The reason why I bought this is because it has a nice thick reflective strip on it which works very well. The harness is nicely made and is pretty durable. All in all, it's a great buy.

I'd advise that if your dog is kinda on the verge of the size, go one size up. I had to return the first one and get a new one. My dog's girth is only 16.7 inches, but the small (up to 19inches) is absolutely too small. I don't think they took into consideration of how thick and stiff the fabric is. However, if you got the right size, it's a great product. For this low low price, it's the best on the net.

I'll post a picture later. I just wanted to say thank you for making a vest that fits smaller service dogs. I've had to make her last 2 and it's really nice to have this one. More and more people are using service dogs for medical reasons that don't require a huge dog. My pug is happy and so is her human.
