HUIHUIKK Nearsighted Oversize Myopia Glasses Everyday Use Mens Womens Black Distance Glasses (NOT READING GLASSES)

My husband is disabled and can't go to the eye doctor (can't sit in the chair for the exam). He needed some glasses to see better for distance. I had never heard of OTC glasses for distance so I thought we would try them. They are great! He can see much better with them and they are great quality and very affordable.

I had cataracts removed from both eyes. The new lens were mono focal for up close: like reading. But with astigmatism in both eyes, everything past reading distance was a complete blur. I had to wait four weeks for the eyes to heal before getting prescription glasses. Eye surgeon recommended these glasses at -3.00 to tide me over until optometrist appointment. Wow! A huge difference. Vision at distance to now sharp and clear. Only minor concern is the frame and lenses seem a little flimsy. I’ve ordered additional pairs in case I break the original ones.

These glasses cracked on the very first day of wearing. Disgusting quality! The rim of the glasses cracked and the glass flew out! I do not recommend it!

For the price, these are great glasses. The lenses are well made in that their rx matches well the diopter value I purchased, and they have a nice wide field of view. The frames, on the other hand, are junk. I have purchased cheaters at Walgreens for $10 that have better frames than these. The hinges have no flex, and the frames are un-adjustable in general, which means that they are (and will remain) tight on my head. The frames are also ugly as sin; bearing a strong resemblance to glasses a certain dictator likes to wear. However, they make excellent back up glasses, for very little cost. It's rare to find glasses for myopia at this cost that can be purchased on the web, I just wish the manufacturer had an option for better frames.

Excellent option if you want to save money. Usually I go to Walmart optics and pay to see a doctor and then I pay for the glasses. It’s hard to buy a pair of glasses when you have myopia since everyone requires a prescription. This is a great option without the hassle of seen a doctor and pay extra.

Update: I have purchased these 2 times so far. Reason? They broke. So now with my 2nd purchase, they just broke again. This second pair broke twice. The first time was the arm of the frame, so I just taped that and it didn't bother me. Then 2 days ago, the frame around the lens broke, which was much harder to tape together, which I had to do in order to see, much less drive a car, while awaiting yet another purchase from good old Amazon. The vision part on these glasses is fine, but what good is that if the frame is funky? The first pair fit just right, a bit snug but not too much. The second pair was tighter, which was okay but it worried me that if I tried to adjust it, it could snap. I was always extra careful, because you can tell these frames are flimsy, but they still broke anyway, because they are not designed for lasting a long time (go figure, like most people only need glasses temporarily). My glasses strength is negative 4, so obviously I have to be able to rely on glasses not breaking. But I still buy these myopia glasses on Amazon only, because it's by far the most economical. Amazon previously had myopia glasses that lasted forever, but that brand is no longer available! They were completely different thicker plastic frames that were very well built and sturdy and looked good. If they had been available again, I would have gladly repurchased. So I won't be getting this brand again. I'm writing this with tape all over my frames, which I had to go out in public with yesterday; it's a miracle that tape could hold them together but it's barely doing that and I'm looking partly through tape. That's okay because it coordinates with the stain on the front my blouse and kind of completes the fashion-challenged klutzy look. Well, this pair did last me for several months. Best advice - have a backup pair always, if your vision is poor. Thank you, Amazon, I still maintain that these low-priced myopia glasses are a lifesaver. No way in hades am I going to fork over 500 dollars at the optical store or even 60 to the online glasses merchants. These bargains didn't exist until a while ago for the myopic - so no complaints here, I will just go with their Amazon competitors (it's out for delivery)! For those of you wondering about having the same power on both your eyes, when your eyes have different vision strengths, don't worry about that. Your eyes are already looking at the world using their different strengths anyway, and this same-power-for-both-eyes correction is just the same as being closer to what you're looking at, without glasses. But do what you feel is best after reading about vision correction. There is a whole lot of interesting information out there. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Original review: I've worn glasses from Amazon for several years now. It's one of the greatest values there is. Of course my eyes aren't exactly the same, but that doesn't matter; these work for me. They allow me to see very clearly and the fit is snug, which is great. I ordered a bit too strong so I ordered the next power up from where I was, and they are amazing. So clear. I can still use the higher powered one for something like driving (at night). I hope to get cataract surgery, but these glasses are definitely my daily bread; I couldn't get along without them. I'm thrilled with my order from today because with one power difference, now I can see better than I have in at least a year. It makes all the difference in the world. These glasses are well made and you can't beat the price. This particular brand was the one that had high strengths; some of them don't have powers this strong, so I couldn't order them. Very glad I got them. Highly recommended.

Always the perfect size and perfect lenses

I just got my new -2.0 glasses from Amazon and I LOVE them! 😍 They’re perfect for my nearsightedness — I can finally see the TV crisp and clear, road signs while driving are no longer a blur, and anytime I need to see far away, these are my go-to. The fit is comfortable, the lenses are spot-on, and the quality feels way more expensive than what I paid. Honestly, I didn’t realize how much I was missing until I put these on. Definitely a great buy!

Wow. I can see the tv. These are great. Starting to think that optometry might be a racket, lol. So far so good.

Elles fonctionnent super bien, et donnent un beau look Par contre elles sont très fragiles, j'ai fait tomber ma paire à moins de 60cm du sol, et elles se sont brisées, le plastique n'est pas le plus solide, cependant, je rachète une autre paire identique pour les remplacer, car elles fonctionnent et ne sont vraiment pas cher (20$) et je n'ai pas de problèmes avec elles, mais ne soyez pas maladroit comme moi, lorsque vous vous penchez avec les lunettes sur votre petite tête 😊

The lenses are distorted at the edges. The plastic the frames are made out of are garbage and the arms snap easily right at the hinge. There is no stabilising rod from the hinge down the arm, so it snaps at the hinge. Stay away from this brand. For the price I don't expect much, but I do expect better than children's play sun glasses quality.
