Jalapeno Corer Zucchini Cucumber Pepper Corer With Long Serrated Blade Easy Remove Viggies Seeds

My husband makes stuffed jalapenos and it would take him forever to cut, core, and clean them along with just the pepper in the air would make me cough like crazy. We looked for corers and did not want a rack so it limited the selection considerably. We settled on this and hoped the reviews were right that a different corer would be sent since this one pictured was not our first choice. A few days later we received our two corers and in fact they were different; the ones received were like the one sold in a kit on Amazon called King Kooker something or other. They worked great. We had 24 peppers cut and hollowed in less than ten minutes I never coughed once, this also lowers the exposure time your hands have to the peppers and so you don't have the burn if you don't wear gloves. The peppers we use tend to vary so I didn't have any problems with the small ones and the larger ones sometimes took two passes to clean them completely. I didn't have a problem with any splitting but I do make a point to buy them big enough that the inside should be the size of my finger so that they stuff easily and well. This was a great buy for us and I highly recommend it.Also just a mention of the pan we use for the peppers, since we normally do the grill but it works great in the oven too, I ran across a pan at a discount store called The Perfect Meatball Pan Set and thought the rack to hold the meatballs was perfect for the varying sizes of peppers we may use. I bought it for under $10 and it worked so great I ordered another one from Amazon since the store was out. It's a little cheesy being one of those "As Seen on TV" things but the rack lets the juices drop to the pan, no flare ups on the grill, and you don't have to worry about the peppers you buy because all sizes work.

I was worried at first that it was too big. I use this for ma7ashi, but it worked on my small eggplants and zucchinis perfectly fine.

Solid tool for coring.

If you are going to core jalapeños this tool is a definite must have. Cut my time prepping the jalapeños to less than half and does a way better job than I could do with any of my knives.

This wasn't the exact corer I was initially wanting, however, with the time crunch I was under to get one, this was the best I could do. When I received this item I realized that it wasn't what was pictured here in this listing. Instead, it was the corer that I had initially wanted! In my opinion, the product I received was of much better quality than the one shown here. I do recommend this product...it makes unbelievably quick work out of getting the veins & seeds out of your jalapenos. Never again will I go back to doing it the "old fashioned way".

It got bent and fell apart with the first use

This pepper corer was the answer to a comment by my son, an amateur cook. He said, "They should make a pepper corer, but the local stores don't have any." Since I thought it would be a good surprise for his birthday, I found several on line, but most were included in sets with a pepper grill, and he already had a grill. This one was perfect, and he is very pleased with its performance. The price was reasonable, too.

My husband and I had found a jalapeno corer at a fair one year in Grapevine, TX, however, we often needed more. I had not been able to find any more until I saw you had them listed. We bought three. They work really well and we can get our jalapenos cleaned and stuffed much more quickly.
