Forget the price!
Very tasty and beefy! Product arrives very fast ! I took a pic of 19 cans in my pantry! I'm a single guy so realistically I can get 2 or 3 meals from each can ! I like mixing it with instant potatoes and freshly chopped veggies! Goes great with a top ramen meal also!

BEEF IS GOOD IF YOU RECEIVE IT! SHIFTY SHIPPER. THEY CLAIM SHIPPED AND NOT!!! STAY ON TOP OF THEM
What a pleasant surprise! Fantastic beefy, flavorful fully cooked addition to the pantry. Real beef, like Grandma spent all day cooking. Lightly salted, not too salty, AT ALL. So happy they didn't add any extra spices, so WE CAN, if we want. LOVE the chunkiness! I bought 2 more 12 packs. To heck with storing for some disaster, we'll store and eat for the love of it. A great fully cooked beef for those days you don't want to spend cooking it yourself. Ya ya ya, I'll store for doomsday but I'll be eating it up till then.

Peace of mind.
So yes, these cans are the 14oz variety, not the larger 28oz (etc). What I was looking for was long term storage, and the price was comparable to similar purchases I've made along those lines.None of the cans showed signs of damage or anything else that would make me suspicious.I'm going to try a can of this beef in the next couple of days as I always sample my preps, so there will be an update coming.Right now, 4 stars.Update July 2 2022:Tried a can this week. Nomnomnom. The meat itself was perfectly fine, and tasted great on a sandwich. The fat/juice from the can was heated, sauced up a little and turned into a bit of gravy. If this is my meat supply for a power outage, storm, quake, whatever - I'm happy.

Overpriced. Get it for $50 less and get twice the product from the processor
The $170.00 price is ridiculous. The meat processor, Keystone, as determined by the USDA establishment number P15826, sells the same product on their web site for $120.00 and but you get 24 -14.5 oz. Cans, not the 12 listed for this product. The product is great but the vendor is way out of line on the price. But it`s your money, spend it however you like.

Cans bulging after only 1 year
I ordered a case of the chicken and the beef back in January of 2014. The taste and quality of the meat was good and I thought I finally found a healthy alternative to the heavily processed, chemically filled storable foods that most other suppliers offer. But Its now been a little over one year and I noticed 4 of the cans of beef are actually bulging, which means gas is forming inside the can. The meat is not safe to eat when cans start bulging! At least none of the cans of chicken are bulging yet, but I'm now worried about the long term value of any of these cans and have lost trust in the brand. Is it only a matter of time before the rest of the cans go bad? I'll also note that these cans were stored in ideal conditions, climate controlled, low humidity.I do not feel safe buying any more of these for long term use.I'll use up the cans I have left and have to look elsewhere. For reference, the lot numbers on the bad cans are:B331215826

Good meat, well packed
The world is a risky place - often there are minor glitches in the power grid, that make life difficult; these can last weeks, so having some food put by to give sustenance in such times is a good idea. These cans are good - the meat tastes great, the stock in the can tastes wonderful and I recommend these for anyone to have on hand, for the times the supplies run out in the stores. We have three months of food stored so should do ok, provided the Zombie invasion doesn't arrive and destroy civilisation, but then, why would I stay at home..Update: Product from DawBin is not packaged well at all - I ordered a case from them, instead of my first vendor, and four out of twelve cans were severely damaged. Their packing consisted of two boxes of six cans, in a rubbish bag, with insufficient newspaper stuffed ineffectively round the cans. Survival Cave Foods packs it in concentric boxes, with card between the cans. It arrives in good condition. I will not order anything else Dawbin until they prove they have improved their packaging.

Excellent flavor mixed well with the soup
Was just going to use this for survival storage. Opened a can to try it in soup. Excellent flavor mixed well with the soup. Sure it will go well with other recipe items.
