Reelcraft 7850 OLP 1/2-Inch by 50-Feet Spring Driven Hose Reel for Air/Water

Reelcraft makes the best hose reels I have ever used, they are well made and long lasting (I have two that I have used for 20 years). The 7850 OLP 1/2 inch is the most popular size and length for shop use. At a weight of 52 pounds you will need to fasten to a stud or backing. I prefer the ceiling instalation with 2x12 backing. Unreeling most of the hose makes it lighter to install, and then a tug on the hose and it reels itself up. Requires a two-person install, one to hold it and one to install the fasteners. Pre-drill pilot holes for large lag screws. I recommend using a Parker HF-251-6-FP (automatic) coupling on the end (for those using Industrial Interchange style quick disconnects).

These reels are worth every penny and the amazon pricing and delivery just tops it off. I ordered these for a service truck and have been using these things for yrs without a hitch..

Don't waste your money buying the cheap China reels. The difference is obvious when you pull it out of the box. Several friends bought cheap reels and not a one of them happy with them. These are high quality and will outlast several cheap reels. I bought a second one but chose the one with the double support. A little more but feels a lot more heavy duty. Only problem is you will have to buy your own swivel to hook your air supply up to the reel. For the price they should include one when you buy the reel.
