HanesMen's Long-Sleeve Performance T-Shirt Pack, 2-Pack, Cool DRI Moisture-Wicking Tees

I used the sizing guide to choose a size vs just going with my normal sizing which a large. I mostly worry about the arms being too short when sizing down but they fit perfectly. Recently wore it while kayaking and it did a fine job wicking moisture away while wearing underneath a PFD.

First, I should say that I am female and the small fits me perfectly. I have several in black and one in red. This shirt is comfortable, quick-dry, and versatile. You can dress it up under a sweater or cardigan or use it for a workout. I use them for everything- work, running, sleeping, everyday. They pair with anything too. I have reordered as well, though they last a long time. I have never had any problem with quality. Buy this shirt. Actually, buy more than one. You're welcome.

I’m an overweight man (220 lbs). These shirts were ok, but for my height the sleeves are too long. But other than that, shirts were as expected. Great for outdoor workers.

The shirt is great overall, good material, good craftsmanship. But I purchased an XL for my husband, since all of his regular T-shirts are XL's, and this shirt was too tight across the chest. I have two "athlete" type young men next door to me that I'll give them to.

Works and fits great. Unless you need LOGO's the quality and construction is probably no different than the more expensive athletic brands.

I do a lot outside during the summer and this longsleeve shirt is comfortable and cool and provides protection from the sun.

I personally use these as technical undershirts for everyday wear, in the colder months. When it's cold and/or wet, it's great to have the layer closest to your skin wick away sweat and dry fast. Unlike a cotton t-shirt, polyester doesn't absorb and hold the moisture close to your skin, so you aren't getting chilled by evaporative cooling like you normally would. Instead, your sweat is wicked and spread out on the fabric, so that it is evaporating quicker away from your skin instead of being absorbed by the fabric and held right against your skin. These shirts also don't feel cold to the touch like cotton does either.Although these aren't the most fashionable shirts on their own, they work great as a cooler weather undershirt beneath a midlayer like a flannel shirt, sweater, or fleece. They have effectively replaced normal cotton t-shirts for me when it starts to get cooler, and since they are so affordable, I have enough to wear each day of the week if needed. A great value for layering!

Kept me cool, burn free, and scratch free when wearing them for 5 work days in supremely hot weather.Bought these for use during a very hot, very sunny week of landscaping job. I was skeptical and even considered returning them when they first arrived. But then decided to go for it, not like I had other options in my closet. If they worked, great. If they didn't then I was out some bills. While I planned to be slathered in sunscreen, I wanted to have an added level of protection through clothing. I purchased the black, as that is considered the color to wear when trying to reduce UV exposure (though it will not reduce the heat- there you will want light/white).I purchased the 3x. I am a chubby woman and these are mens shirts, so I didn't expect a great fit. Material is stretchy and accommodating. Overall, I just wanted something that fit my body, loosely. In this case, I'd rather it be too big than too small. For the women who may be checking these out: I am 5'10, normally an 18/20 (top and bottom) and the 3x is a loose but not huge fit. Length hits my hips, and I have a long torso.These shirts are not something I planned to wear except for working outside or maybe if I know I have to be out in the sun for long periods of time (I wear wide brim hats, wear sun screen, apply repeatedly, and try not to be in sun for various reasons- so all this is important to me, and I think adds weight to my review).100% polyester, super light weight. I have no idea what makes them "SPF 50". A search tells me that polyester has natural SPF rating of 30, and is considered not a "breathable" fabric. I dont know.. I found these rather light and breathable. I too their word that these have SPF rating of 50. Might be the weave, who knows. Maybe it helped that I chose black and chose a loose fit. Wish there was more info as to WHY/HOW. I down rate based on lack of info.While I sweated, the material seemed to pick up moisture and dry quickly. I never felt "hot" despite wearing long sleeves. Was extra amazing feeling when I could catch a breeze. I also wanted the long sleeves to help keep my arms from being all scratched up as I put down mulch and worked my way through bushes and such. Also keep bugs off me. Sleeves were quite long on my 5'10" frame, but that didn't bother me at all.Overall these shirts worked as intended.

My height is 5' 10½" and my body weight is 165 lbs. My body's shape is slim and am in reasonably good athletic condition. This post is a review of the Hanes (Men's) Long Sleeve Cool DRI T-shirt UPF 50 plus. The chosen size was 'medium'. The chosen color was 'white'. My reason for purchasing this T-shirt was to provide protection from the sun's harmful UV rays while playing tennis on outdoor courts. As such, it was worn underneath a thin (short-sleeved) cotton T-shirt.My Amazon order arrived within three days in a package containing two (2) identical T-shirts, in addition to other items which I ordered. If you decide to order two different colors when placing a single order, the cost is higher, since additional shipping charges will apply. If your order does NOT combine colors (e.g., two white shirts, as I ordered), you will obtain free shipping once you add additional items to your order - such that the total cost of the order exceeds CAD $35, before tax.Upon arrival, I examined the two T-shirts carefully and found them to be of notably high-quality workmanship. They appeared to be very durable with double-stitching. They are light-weight and extremely compact - convenient when packing for camping or traveling. After machine washing (warm water with no chlorine bleach) the shirts were virtually dry, even before placing them into the clothes dryer with other articles of clothing.On the tennis court they performed very well. Despite being worn underneath a cotton T-shirt on a rather sunny and hot (29° Celsius) day, the wicking effect was great. Moisture was pulled away from my body quickly and my body did not feel wet, despite heavy perspiration and two layers of clothing. As mentioned, these shirts dry very quickly. Air also seems to pass through these Hanes T-shirt quite well, thereby offering excellent ventilation during prolonged exertion or intense exercise. (Note: The cotton outer-garment became wet with perspiration and took longer to dry than the Hanes T-shiirt which was worn as an undergarment.)As others customers have noted, I found the underarms on these T-shirts NOT to be form-fitting. When lifting the arms overhead, the sides of the shirt will tend to pull upwards slightly with a triangular piece of cloth (air gap) remaining under the arms, since the the stitching for the underarms tends to be positioned a little too low on the shirt (not body-hugging under the arms). For me, this was not a concern, since the T-shirt was to be worn underneath another light-weight casual shirt. Accordingly, however, for those concerned about style or aesthetics, this T-shirt probably wouldn't be highly-rated as an outer garment. Additionally, the 100% polyester fabric tends to 'hang' or 'drape' onto the body, unlike cotton fabrics which tend to rest more naturally when worn. Despite these minor shortcomings, the T-shirt felt comfortable to wear and was neither too tight, nor too loose.The sizing ('medium') was perfect for me. The arm length was neither too long, nor too short. The chest and shoulder widths fit perfectly. There is plenty of length to tuck into pants or shorts. In other words, I found the sizing to be accurate, since I typically wear a size 'medium' with all my other shirts. No surprises or letdowns were found to exit in this respect.The Hanes label with the patented 'Cool DRI' insignia are clearly displayed inside the T-shirt. These shirts are NOT knockoff products. They are manufactured in Guatemala as genuine Hanes products. .UPF is an acronym for "Ultraviolet Protection Factor". It is somewhat analogous the SPF (Sun Protection Factor) ratings applicable to topical sunscreen lotions. The Amazon specifications for these T-shirts - unambiguously - claim that these T-shirts provide UPF 50-plus protection. This is the highest UV protection available for an article of clothing. Essentially, this means that less than 1 out of ~50 units of UV will pass through the garment (~ 2%).These T-shirts are NEITHER zinc oxide NOR titanium dioxide infused, so the UPF rating should not diminish with washing over time. Nor will the UPF rating improve over time due to automatic clothes drying, since polyester will not shrink (when heat is applied) to provide a tighter weave.No where on these garments, nor their packaging, is ANY reference made to their UPF rating. However, polyester contains a benzene ring that absorbs UV light. This dynamic is enhanced in cases where the polyester fabric is denser (i.e., tight weave, heavy weight, minimal stretch). Though tightly woven, these polyester T-shirts are quite thin. Therefore, I'm not confident that they actually provide the level of UV protection which is promised on Amazon. That being said, I am delighted that I purchased these T-shirts, since cotton T-shirts alone block only about 5% of the sun's harmful radiation. Coupled with other measures, these Hanes T-shirts will definitely enhance my UV protection.Conclusions: This is an excellent product at an excellent price. For my intended use of these T-shirts (stated above), I am definitely pleased that I made this purchase. Nonetheless, I certainly won't be making any fashion-statements on the tennis court with these T-shirts! :)

Very comfortable on skin. Soaks well and dries quickly. Multiple purchases. Recommend

Got one a few months ago, ordered large size as I wanted it to be loose & it is. Ordered the two pack recently & went for medium which are still loose but perfect. Really light material for a base layer, well made, wash easy & dry quickly. Really worth the money.

These tops are garbage, I thought they would look normal for casual wear but they just look stupid. Want to return them but don't get how to
