Clean Install
Blows a lot of air. Using to blow smoke away from grill area and works great. I was able to hard wire it and add a remote. Just had to attach to custom box. Thank you to best electrician. Rusty!

Strong, solid design that moves a ton of air
This fan is great. I have it mounted in two car garage. I added a couple of 2x6's in the attic between the trusses and bought lag bolts to attach the base. As others have mentioned, some of the finish isn't perfect, but when it's on the ceiling, you can't see it. Once up, I bought a 3 foot section of ceiling fan pull and attached the included fan pull knob. The fan rotates side to side and up and down manually. I attached the included safety cable via an eye bolt and into the 2x6 in the attic. This fan is not going anywhere, even on full speed. It easily ventilates the garage on low and medium settings and cools things down quite a bit. I'm very impressed with the overall build quality and would easily buy this again or recommend it. Something to consider: the 4 lag bolts and washers weren't included, along with extra ceiling fan pull line to turn it on. In addition, if using the safety cable, buy an eye bolt. The lead is somewhere around 6 inches which was much too short for my ceiling height. Not drawbacks, just pick the stuff up at your local hardware store prior to installing.

Small but Powerful
We were looking for a fan for our outside patio and this fit the bill. It is great quality, easy to install and use. It has three speeds and adjusts manually up - down and left -right. We use it on hot afternoons and evenings to provide us with a breeze, move the air around and are not disappointed.

Good Quality Great Air Flow
I have two of these fans to replace the floor units that take up real-estate. These things have some good weight to them, surely look and feel industrial. The finish on them is hit and miss, I received one with rust and poor quality paint, burrs on the metal, etc... Being that they are mount on the ceiling and activated by remote you cannot notice the little nuances from afar. It is loud on high. There are some reviews mentioning vibration, in my case there are not vibrations on either unit. It could be either the install needs to be more secure or the product is not balanced. I can recommend this product after now having purchased two of them.

Quiet and Powerful Fan
Fan is installed in the garage to help cool the area. About 20 minutes to install, all parts included except screws for mounting the base. Fan height can be changed by replacing the stubby pipe with same size pipe with appropriate pipe length. It moves plenty of air on high, enough to be felt outside the 2-car garage. Will be using in low to medium most of the time. Fan looks very sturdy and nicely finished, well balanced. No more working inside the hot garage.

Air King Quality and Mounting Tip
I've got 3 Air King fans working in my basement to keep the air from stagnating. Two of the fans are the ceiling mounted versions I'm reviewing here (the remaining Air King is the same size, but free standing). I run all three fans on timers (on 15 mins - off 30 mins on a 24/7 cycle). The free standing Air King has been running like new for years whereas the cheap box fans I used to run would fail in about a year... the motors would quit or short.. Here's a mounting tip. The fan that I mounted to my floor/ceiling joists transferred unwanted vibration up into my kitchen (the fan being mounted in the basement directly under the kitchen). The fix was easy, I bought and installed anti-vibration rubber isolator mounts that I found here on Amazon between the fan and the mounting board I used to fix the works to the joists. Now the fan is quiet as a mouse!

Great fan for the right application.
Put this in the top right corner of my garage to help with air exchange (I live in Texas). Installation was relatively straightforward except the threads on the mount were chowdery AF... Not a concern because the set screw does the job. Don't skip the braided steel safety cable... They designed the product; they know it's failure modes. This moves a lot of air and has improved livability in my garage markedly. I installed a smart outlet in the ceiling (topgreener TGWF15RM) so I can tell google to turn it off and on.

Great fan, INDUSTRIAL, Lots of power
I'm not sure why people are complaining about the mounting system of this fan. I thought it was great. It even came with lag bolts. This ISN'T your grandma's floor fan. This is a serious fan. If you're looking for something beefy for your shop or garage this is it.

a little on the loud side, but this fan moves a TON of air. my little pony has severe asthma and doesn’t handle getting overheated. this fan is a godsend for her.

I bought this fan for my bedroom because it was the only ceiling mounted directional fan that didn't cost $800. This fan does have very good air movement but Is extremely noisy . It's not bad if if it's in the 90゚ position, but as soon as you Angle it down like it's designed to do it's it sounds like a diesel Engine (shakes and rattles). No brand new fan should be this noisy right out of the Box. Don't waste your money.
