I-reverse Loudest 112dB Commercial Sweeper Sound Reverse-backup Alarm. OSHA approved 12v-80v White Noise-Directional, Not Beep-Beep

I got this for my Ford F super Duty dump truck after some ***** barreled into a parking spot I was trying to back into and I almost hit the lady since My side mirrors are crap and the dump bed makes the rear view mirror useless . Now the truck did have a backup alarm but it must have been damaged or something because it hardly made sound. After that happened I was thinking of what kind of backup alarm would get folk's attention since people seem to ignore the standard ones since they hear them so often and I remembered hearing one on a compactor at the dump when I go. I thought it was broken until I found this one and it makes people stop since it is such a unique sound. The unit is rather large compared to the pancake one it replaced so size could be an issue and it has three wires, You hook the yellow and red together for 97db and don't use the yellow wire at all for the full 107db which seems odd because it seems like it should be the other way. All in all I love it and I think it will last a long time! [I will try to get a video up and take some measurements]

Seller Fleetimac shipped this thing so quickly after I made the order, I was impressed! It's quite clear the alarm is the best Shenzhen has to offer in Chinesium white noise back up alarms, but I can't complain for the price considering the mainstream option is $100. The real test will be if it will hold up to the elements and professional driving environments. I'm very happy that these white noise alarms are OSHA compliant, and I think more industrial vehicles need to be outfitted with these instead of beepers ... All the science says these are better! Purchased Feb 208, I'll update this review with the product survivability over time.

Working well easy to wire. We ordered six of these alarms, out of the six one was doa. Faulty unit was replaced quickly at no charge and replacement unit works properly. Wired these on too four trucks all of them working well for about two and a half months now

People have told me how much they appreciate the quieter back up alarm in the city I regularly do service work, because they hear ear piercing alarms all day and it starts to drive them crazy. So the fact that someone was considerate enough to make that effort, it has been notice.

5 Stars. Love this alarm! I’ve purchased several for my dump trucks and front loaders. The sound doesn’t bother the operator but does a great job of warning those behind the equipment. Great seller, arrived fast and boxed well. Also has a 3 year warranty. I’ve tried every alarm on Amazon and this is the best.

Works good! People aren't used to hearing a different sound, so they pay more attention.
