This is a really impressive for the price. I gave it as a gift. The box is very nice; shiny and with beautiful graphics. The house is typical in quality of any birdhouse you'd buy at a chain craft store, but the front doors are on hinges, and there is a 'hatch' door in the roof-both nice touches to make this more of a fairy house than a bird house.It also included 6 small pots of pretty acrylic paints, a small envelope of glitter and a basic small paintbrush (you will probably want to use something a little more refined or a couple of brushes or different sizes from your own craft supplies-but I like that as a gift, it really give you everything you need), and a sweet, high-quality paperback book feature the exact fairy house, and is dedicated to the daughters of the creators of this kit. The books really rounds it out and sets is apart from the cheapy fairy house kits I saw at the craft store and in Barnes and Noble.

I bought this for my 5 yr old daughter and she absolutely loved painting it! We spent the afternoon painting and decorating it, it was dry by the same evening for her to put by her bed for a fairy to visit her that night. If your child loves fairies, I highly recommend this. Great gift idea!

I’ve bought this for my daughter and I have gifted twice to my friends’ daughters and another to my niece. It is so sweet, I have suggested to coworkers with daughters as well who have all purchased it. See my daughters excitement about having been visited by the fairy was priceless.

I loved everything about this product except the paints seemed a little thick and old. My daughter and I used a mixture of the paints provided and some acrylics we had at home, though, and it turned out beautifully. The story that comes along with the house is so sweet.

This was a Christmas gift for my grand niece. It was very well made and the kit was complete with more than enough paint for her to decorate as she wanted.Customer service was excellent. There were a few issues with my mail carrier and the sellers went over and above in service making sure my order was filled in time for Christmas. They were excellent.

My 5 year old loves the book and after reading it really enjoyed painting this house and leaving it by her bedside. Excellent gift for a young child.
