Hard and delicate at the same time, stunning when lit up.
I’m not new to salt products, Himalayan pink salt lives in my kitchen where I cook with it it, I often buy chunks and grate them like a cave woman but I also enjoy them through the house indifferent uses. I have a jagged funky plug in salt lamp that my boyfriend brought from Japan but the tea light is such a whimsical and calming experience and so easy, no plug required, a candle and a match and you are in for a treat. I logged into Amazon to buy more and in different shades actually, the only issues is always making sure I always have good tea lights on hand! I adore the raw, rustic organic look here. Each candle holder is different and unique as it’s handmade and not created by a machine in some factory from plastic pellets, basically it’s a piece of pink salt rock with a little tea light holding hole drilled in, I’m looking at mine as I type this and it’s really adorable and calming, when my apartment the lights are low it gives off the coziest and most unique glow. I’ve heard about the air purifying salt lamp benefits from my aunt who swears by them, and I find that having them throughout the house helps with dust and cat allergies a bit, the air just feels better, not flavored or weird, just good enough that you don’t notice but you notice the lack of sneezing. That won’t happen with one, so I suggest stocking up as these are magnificent little home improvers, if you crave cozy warmth then this will do nicely. I’ve noticed that my candles are flat across the top, the picture here is very round, so don’t expect an exact replica but each one is great in its own way. - Kasia S.

Love it! Perfect size for almost anywhere. Great glow when lighted.
I absolutely LOVE this little thing! They are not huge - maybe a little larger than a baseball. (It has been years since I held a baseball, so use your own judgement there.) Every one will vary a little, because they are carved from Hilalayan salt. I have three other salt lamps as well. We have two asthmatics in the house, and they do seem to help purify the air. This candle uses ONLY tea lights. You can pick them up almost anywhere very inexpensively, so that is not a huge cost. You'll need a stick-style lighter (like you'd use on large candles or your grill) because you won't be able to get a match in there unless you have some fireplace matches. DO NOT use votive size candles either - the wax will melt down into the base and make a very large mess. Tea lights only please! They are a funky pink when sitting unused in the room. They don't really expire - my salt lamp in the bedroom is probably three years old and you can't tell I've even used it. When you put in a tea light and light it up, the glow is a beautiful orange that is very eye-pleasing. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase, and with the product itself. I would gladly give these as gifts (and receive them too!). If this is your first time to try out a Himalayan light product, this is a great way to do it!

So fricken cool
The coolest candle holders ever! No, they don't match in shape, that's what makes them even more awesome. They are very large, yours may be flat-sided or somewhat round. I have to drop the tea-lights in because the holes are deep. You'll just have to wait and see what you get! Their glow is so warm, giving that spa-like glow, romantic, or even a mysterious ambiance. I ordered two (apparently would have been cheaper to order as a pack), and I love them! Tip- to get the tea-lights out, just turn the holder over and shake. If that doesn't work, you can dig it out with a knife, but I only needed to do that the first use in one of the holders. Sure, it would be cool if WBM also made these holders matching and rounder like in the photo, but the way they look in real-life is pretty unique, sturdy, and worth it.

Mine are not as colorful as the picture but very nice when lit
I've read the reviews on the healing qualities of Himalayan Natural Crystal Salt, and with the photo's above I thought two of these would be a good decorative candle holder for a low light shrine in the living room. When I opened the box I was a little disappointed with the coloration of the candle holders but as with everything in nature, nothing is exactly alike, but once I lit the candles color really popped out so lighting them improved the coloration about a 100%. So if your candle holders aren't the color of those in the photo's shown, light one up and see if it doesn't improve yourself. As far as the health benefits that are claimed, I'm not sure about them all, but I am a believer in their value in reducing stress and helping with sleeplessness. I've never been one to believe in most of the natural remedies people have tried to sell me on in the past, but for those issues mentioned above, I swear to their effectiveness, and plan to keep them around at least for the foreseeable future. The price is great, I love the natural look, and the color they produce when lit is honestly very warm and helps me relax. In my opinion the ambient light makes them well worth the purchase for that reason alone, and if by chance the other health benefits have any merit they're a still at this price.

Not as pictured. Very poor quality.
The ones we got were absolute garbage. Looked nothing like the product pictured. Were plain white with no hint of pink or orange. Were kind of rounded on two sides, but square on the other two sides. The hole for the candles was unevenly drilled. Don’t buy these.

Great candle holder. Just providing some info below.
Overall, I really like this candle holder. It's very attractive, and seems as sturdy as one would expect given the material. I do have a few small complaints, mostly that the image/description isn't accurate. Pros: - Very solid and casts a nice orange glow when lit. - The recess for the tea light is well sized and very deep. The depth means you see the glow, but not the flame. A very good look, but you'll need the long matches to get a tea light lit. - When I get a new holder, I always burn a candle from start to finish while I'm in the room, so that I can see how hot it gets. After five hours, this holder gets very warm, but not enough so as to make me nervous like some of the glass holders. It gets about as hot as putting your hand on the hood of a car on a sunny day. It's not comfortable to touch, but you can leave your hand there, and easily move it from place to place. - When the item first arrived, condensation (having come from the truck at around five degrees to the house at seventy-four or so) covered the candle in water. I know it's a salt, but the moisture didn't seem to do any harm to it. I wouldn't run it through the dishwasher, but I think it's hardier than one might expect. Cons: - The holder looks good, and I would have bought it anyway, but it's much more square and a much lighter pink color rather than the orange shown. - There are partially flat sides where the original block was sized. It'd actually be really nice if you were using this as a bookend, and it's not unattractive, but not what I expected. - The flat spots make it easy to measure, and it is slightly larger than the description, but not ridiculously so. - The candle recess is off center. Not a big deal, as it looks just fine with the natural material, but I find it odd. General info: -Seems like there is some debate over the "air purifying" or "air freshening," or whatever you want to call it, properties of the material. I don't want to jump into all that, so I'm going to simply say that I didn't specifically notice it, and leave it at that. -If you get this, and you aren't in love with the appearance, you may want to burn a couple candles in it before giving up on it. I could be crazy, but there seems to be the tiniest change in the color after having burned three tea lights completely in it. I think the appearance might have improved slightly. I think it's probably all in my head, but on the off chance it isn't, it might be worth the cost of a couple tea lights.

Colors may vary
I like this candle holder. The color is different than the pictures; much lighter, pale pink/peach. However, it's a beautiful holder.

Beautiful and wonderful addition!
I use candles and incense to help me with my daily meditation/mindfulness practices. Although I thought they were larger to hold pillar candles, I'm now eager to use smaller candles to light them up. The warm glow is very comforting and soothing! I have a salt lamp I keep on in my living room; so these smaller ones go right along with the glow/essence.
