Excellent lamp oil at a great orice
We use this lamp oil in our emergency oil lamps. Our home is in the mountains, surrounded by National Forest. The power goes out with some frequency, so we depend on oil lamps scattered around the house. This us our favorite lamp oil as it burns clean, and doesn't smoke or have a bad smell when burning. A large bottle was priced much better than at the hardware store chain, so I stocked up. I mix the blue color with the clear to add a little color interest to the clear glass lamps.

Great Lamp Oil For Small Lanterns and Oil Candles - Clean Burning and Virtually No Odor
This is my go-to lamp oil for my small lanterns and lamps. This will work great for ANY lantern or oil lamp with a 1/2" or smaller wick. If your lamp / lantern has a wider wick, consider using Medallion Clear Lamp Oil. As a note on THIS product, there is a VERY SLIGHT odor. It kind of smells like hot wax when it burns. It's not off-putting or anything, but if you walk into a room with a lantern burning this, you might notice the slight smell. There is a lot of confusion on what oil to use in lanterns, but it is really not too difficult to understand.THIS product is a PARAFFIN oil. Paraffin oils are great for INDOOR and OUTDOOR use in lanterns and lamps with 1/2" or smaller wick, as well as in oil candles. (Some will say you can use this in lanterns up to 1" wick sizes, although most "experts" would advise not using this on wicks larger than 1/2" because it can soot up or clog the wick).Standard Lamp Oil (Like Medallion Clear Lamp Oil) is also safe for INDOOR AND OUTDOOR use. It is NOT paraffin based. It can be used in all lamps and lanterns no matter the wick size, but should NOT be used with oil candles. You can also use K-1 Kerosene (ultra pure and clear--NOT THE RED STUFF). Kerosene can be used in oil lanterns and lamps but I believe it is best for outdoor use only. It can NOT be used in oil candles. And that's all you really need to know!Hope this helps!!

Works with my off-brand everlasting candle set
I purchased this for an everlasting candle set I was gifted by a friend. I didn't want to buy the expensive oil, so I purchased this. It works perfectly and my candles haven't had any issues. It does smell a little bit when I blow the candles out, but that's easily fixed with a fan or by leaving the room for a bit until the smell goes away.
