This was a replacement for a previous plastic door guide that broke. My father installed it for me and said that we should have gotten one like this from the start. Our sliding barn door is in our basement with a concrete floor which isn't totally level so installing floor mounted guides requires drilling and special concrete screws and shims. This attaches to the studs in the wall (or use anchors) and the rolling guides are adjustable in height which for us was a necessity since the floor is concrete and there is a little extra space between the bottom of the door and the floor due to the door hanging measurements taking the height of flooring into account. It was super easy to install, the door glides nicely through it and its sturdy which is important when you have 3 small kids yanking on the door to open/close it. Would recommend.

The guide arrived just as promised and solved our problem of a “wobbly” newly installed barn door style door. The entire bathroom was renovated, adding a solid wood classic 6 panel door. The home is a very traditional colonial design, which required us using less rustic hardware. This guide fit the bill! Our contractor cut into the thickish floor moulding into to place the guide to the wall. The guide became quite inconspicuous, sinking into the carpet. It keeps the door in place, glides easily and is very quiet. The contractor said the installation was the easiest he has ever done and the adjustability of the guide was a huge bonus!

Sturdy and robust and sharp looking to give your project that finishing touch. Smooth rolling keepers do not scratch or mar the doors base, do not squeak and are adjustable so you can really get a nice tight, close fit to prevent door flopping or rattling at the bottom.

This is almost a piece of artwork. Well made, extremely adjustable, solid piece of hardware. Worth every penny. I built a pantry and we decided on the barn style door. This guide which is absolutely silent allows enough clearance to keep the artwork on the wall behind the door travel. I highly recommend this if you're looking for the chrome finish.
