The fact they make these with a pad limits their usefulness. They are not really useful for wearing under padded bike shorts or tights because the double pad would be too much. So you could really only wear them with non-padded shorts or pants. If that fits your purpose, i.e. you want to add padding and windproofness to non-padded bike clothes, then these would work great for you. However, I didn't think I'd be able to get much use out of them. I will say that this company makes great cold weather bike stuff in general ...just not sure what the point of these is.

These run very small. I wear a medium in every kind of shorts and pants (32 waist). I ordered a large, however, based on reviews, and they were still uncomfortably small. I am not sure what's up with the sizing on these, but I would just look elsewhere.

A must have for the winter. Turns winter biking into a totally reasonable prospect. Wish I had a few more pairs

Excellent material and very comfortable when you are ridding the bike around town. Keep you dry and fresh. Very nice product.
