Gluten free people... THIS IS THE BEST RAMEN!
Before I divulge into my review, I would like to preface by saying that I have was diagnosed with an allergy to gluten after seeing multiple cardiac doctors for a rapid heart rate that all started when my primary source of food was starches. In our religion, abstaining from meat and all blood containing seafood or meat derivatives is required when doing our Lenten fast. (Yes, I take supplements in excess during my fasting periods as well as eat plenty of fruits and vegetables rich in the vitamins needed during this time.) Thus, I was primarily eating pastas and breads in order to keep me full. I noticed that I would have extreme bouts of tachycardia. After purchasing an at home EKG machine, wearing a holter monitor for 48 hours, visiting 4 cardiac doctors and electrophysiologists, one in particular suggested that I may not be a cardiac issue at all and rather from my diet. The gluten allergy was confirmed after bloodwork and further testing. Whats the one thing I missed the most? RAMEN NOODLE SOUP. You know, the Maruchan brand that you could get for .25 cents a package? Yea, thats the one. And when I checked the package? Yep, the noodles had wheat/gluten. I was so upset! Sounds crazy to be upset over such a thing but I grew up on them! How could I never have these again? Well, I wasn’t willing to risk the feeling of my heart beating out of my chest just to cheat for a meal so I started in search of the best rice noodle ramen as an alternative. I have taken advice on the “best alternative to ramen” products from multiple people who are in the same boat and even from members in a gluten free facebook group. I have tried hundreds of dollars worth of mock ramen products (as you know these aren’t cheap either) but none of these appealed to me in the least bit. The noodles would break or stick together and none even came CLOSE to the texture of those found in the .25 cent package. How?! All the money they charge and they STILL can’t get the texture of the noodle down pat. The broth was too salty/not salty enough. Watered down tasting. Portions were too small. I would have to add all sorts of spices/additions for it to be palatable. I could go on forever. In one of my late night searches on amazon the other night, I found this product and thought “what’s the worst that could happen, at least I could check this one off the list as one I’ve tried”. I ordered the mixed variety pack on Saturday and it arrived at my door less than 24 hours later. It was packaged tightly and the noodles were not broken at all when I removed them from the package. I cooked according to package directions. The noodles cooked separately and were not clumped together. I did find that 5 minutes was not long enough to achieve the bite that I liked so I upped it to 7. Turned the heat off and opened the flavor packet. I chose the soy flavor. It was sauce like and thick. Not a powder. When added to the broth it thickened up nicely. I added it to the bowl and tried the broth alone. I was DELICIOUS! Again, a little thicker and not runny (which I like), full of flavor (WAY better flavor than those in the paper package to my disbelief) and not overly salty. Then the noodles. Oh my goodness THE NOODLES! THESE ARE WHAT I HAVE BEEN IN SEARCH OF!!! The texture resembled those delicious bowls of pho in the authentic restaurants that I once loved so much! These are the CLOSEST to real ramen that I have ever had. I am proud to say that while I wish they were cheaper, my search is over. If you’re skeptical like me, give them a try and you’ll definitely be pleased! I am thankful to have found these!

Amazing texture and flavor
Finally tried them —- OMG. You’d never guess gluten free ramen, the soup base is so flavorful and it’s made in Japan ! No MsG or artificial coloring or flavors . I piled in a bunch of my homemade succulent boiled chicken and organic cabbage slaw and peas . What a great carb splurge after hard work!

The best gluten free ramen!
I saw many reviews said the soup gets so slimy or thick but normally gluten-free pasta and noodles makes boiling water thicker and slimy it’s because of its ingredients. So I recommend to boil the noodle separately and make soup in a bowl with other hot boiled water. Then throw the cooked noodles into the soup bowl. The soup is kind of salty so I added little more water. But quality of noodles are great and flavor is perfect! I’m a Japanese girl living in the U.S. and I really appreciate that I can get these ramen on Amazon! It’s bit pricy so can’t eat every day tho.

So Tasty and Easy
This had a nice deep flavor from the flavoring pack and wasn't salty. Halfway through the noodle cooking, I added thinly sliced vegetables (celery, carrots, and mushrooms) and shredded cooked rotisserie chicken so that the chicken would be hot and the veggies still a liltle crisp. The noodles were perfect. In the future, I would change it up with different veggies and shrimp or any sliced cooked leftover protein. I followed the package and didn't add any other seasonings. I did add an extra half cup of water because of my added ingredients. There were 2 large bowls. I could see people luking spice would add hot chile sauce or oil. We are recently gluten free so this will always be in my pantry from now on.

Love these gluten-free noodles!
Love these noodles! Some gluten-free brands will cut the noodles to fit a square shape, resulting in too many short noodles. If you've seen the seemingly laser-cut square blocks of gluten free noodles, you know what I mean. In contrast, these Gluten Free Meister Ramen noodles are perfectly long, as ramen noodles should be, because they are folded to fit in the bag. The noodles are simply the best gluten-free ramen I've had, they taste delicious and I love the selection of soup flavors in this variety pack.

The noodles are good but
I was really excited about these. The noodles are great but for how small the amount of noodles you get is compared to most packaged ramen these are extremely overpriced. I also found the broth was very very thick. Good flavor but I've never had a fresh or packaged ramen with such thick soup base. Great in a pinch?

Can I Give 6 Stars?
This is best gluten-free ramen I've ever had! It's also better than any packaged ramen I remember from before I stopped eating gluten. It's just good. I prepared the noodles as directed on the package--cooked noodles for 5 minutes in boiling water, rinsed, then added them to the prepared soup base. Quixk and easy. The broth is delicious and the noodles remained tender, chewy, and with a perfect texture from the first bite to the last. I've added a photo taken about 15 minutes after preparation, so you can see how the noodles retain a good body and texture. This shows the shoyu ramen with added toppings (beef and shallot mix from Ramen Bae, noodle eggs, and nori flakes), but the ramen is tasty without anything added as well, if you're a plain ramen kind of person. Just really well done, quality ramen. Not fried, no msg, gluten-free, and vegan. I'm excited to try the protein ramen next.

NOT Gluten Free!
I do NOT believe these are gluten free judging by my reaction to this. This is a gluten reaction. The taste was good, but I’m not willing to put up with the digestive issues.
