This is essentially huge, thick double sided tape. You put it on your furniture wherever your favorite feline has taken to scratching. Kitties really dislike it when their little paws get stuck on the sofa LOL This acts as a big deterrent. I have not seen my cat scratching since I applied it to my couch. Having said that there are a few issues that may or may not bother you. It is a sticky surface so stuff sticks to it. My dog walks by and loses fur every time. Eventually it will loose it's stickiness when enough hair gets stuck to it. Hopefully it will be after the kitty has moved on to another scratching post. It also catches my skirts when I walk by. It isn't beautiful but it also isn't horribly noticeable. All in all, it has done what I wanted it to do.

I bought brand new upholstered sitting chairs and after only a few days my cat decided to use it for his scratching post. I put this tape on the side and he quit scratching. Now my brand new upholstered chairs are ugly with tape on them but hey my cat isnt scratching them up. I guess that's what happens when you own a cat. I'm hoping the tape will "train" him to leave them alone so I can remove them and have aesthetically looking upholstered chairs again.

I purchased a new couch and loveseat and I am so glad that I went ahead and bought this tape. My cats do not think too much for it, but that was the idea. Keeps them from using my furniture for their own personal scratching post.

Loved that it came in a roll and could be cut to any width or length for applying to odd shaped furniture. The pre-made sheets from other brands are great but limited in their use. Besides, those packs never provide enough sheets for what you actually need, where as having a roll of the anti-scratch tape will last a while.

It works! Best of all, it is hardly visible on our furniture. Highly recommend for any furniture that a cat likes to scratch. Only downside is separating the backing -- it's difficult to get started but easy once you start peeling it off.

Does not stick to furniture. I bought this specifically for a kitten. Not as sticky as you advertise. Won’t stick to my leather or kitchen chairs.

Excellent product , works every time ! I’ve been using this at our old place and now that we’ve moved I repurchased it again for some of the furniture !
