Eyeglass Holder, Sunglass Chain By Peeper Keepers Bugle Beads | w/Microfiber Cloth, Screwdriver

I looked for a long time for the "perfect" eyeglass holder. I think I kind of found it with this product. Its description fit a lot of my parameters [silver, longer length, 2-pack, secure attachment, etc.]. I keep glasses at work, in my purse and around the house so I ordered 3 sets.The GOOD: They arrived promptly and have worked well. The rubber ends are fantastic!!!!! I've never had "croakies" with an end so secure, they don't move once you've attached them to your glasses.The NOT SO GOOD: The silver beaded chain tends to break easily. This is because the beads are stung on thin thread. The first time it happened, my glasses were just hanging around my neck and the next thing I knew, I was covered in beads. I was outside at the nursery so the mess was minimal. The second time, the beads ended up all over the kitchen floor. The third time was while I was wearing them, watching TV, instead of having them hang around my neck.Why give it 3-stars since they break easily you might ask? Answer" because of the SOLUTION! The rubber ends are so awesome, I just attached a different chain to them and continue to use them every day. No need to worry about the thread with an actual chain, I can make it longer (my preference), and I know it won't break on me in an inconvenient location. If you are at all handy with pliers and a chain - you can't go wrong.

I love these but I find that I am too rough on them even though the connector is the best I have ever seen, I did break the string with the beads after 4 months of getting the chain stuck on things I carry and my grandchildren. I still have one chain left and I will be using that when I go out shopping and am doing less physical activity. I have to say that they are very sturdy and if you are not as hard on things as I am they would be great. I also plan on putting a stronger type chain on the connectors when I see something I like so that I can use this one again. The connectors really grabbed onto the arms of my glasses and rarely slipped unless being pulled with force. They did not get in my way of seeing and they were not at all uncomfortable. They are really pretty and I got many compliments on them. I will be ordering more as soon as I lose the two that came in this package.

Broke within two days of use. Super cute beading and perfect length, also like the grips, but should be strung with more durable cord. And replacement grips should be available.
