My husband needed this tie for an upcoming performance and he bought the cheapest one he could find, and he was amazed when it arrived that it is made in Italy and is of very good quality

Material is thin, but for the price it is a good value. It knots well and looks good.

I love this tie because it's in a unique place in terms of wardrobe use. On one hand it looks and feels nice enough to be considered "dress" apparel. On the other hand it can also be used for a slightly more casual look. It's 100% polyester (the reason I elected to mention that again is because sometimes the posted descriptions aren't accurate). Personally I bought this tie to wear with a plaid skirt I own. Sadly the plaid colors aren't a spot on match between the two, but I won't knock off stars because of that. For anyone curious about the measurements at its widest point at the bottom the tie is about 3 1/2 inches wide. In terms of length I'd say round 5 feet. If you have a moderately small neck like me expect to have a good amount of "tuck in" length. In fact I'd recommend getting a nice vest (or jacket if you prefer that) to go along with it. I'd certainly buy this product again and will consider purchasing different colors for some of my other outfitting needs.

Beautiful tie! Hubby loves it. I bought it for a Christmas wedding, but would be great for a Valentine’s Day date night too!

Excellent Christmas tie. I considered about 8 different red plaid ties and this one beat them all. My husband wore this tie with a white dress shirt and black sports coat. Sooo oo smart looking. It's too late now but I would consider this tie for Christmas gifts for guy friends.
