The Cindy Douglass Yarn Bowl I ordered arrived in excellent condition. It was packaged beautifully and is in mint condition.The bowl is absolutely georgeous. I bought it for myself to handle skeins of yarn easier when knitting, not realizing it is usefulfor other functions, e.g. knitting needles, etc. I was so happy to see it listed on Amazon, because my first time seeing a bowlof this kind was at an expensive yarn shop. They had bowls similiar to this bowl, but they were more expensive, and did notlook have as sturdy or heavy as this bowl is regarding the weight of it. My feeling is that I have purchased a higher qualityproduct at a very reasonable cost.I will be recommending this georgous bowl to my knitting family and friends. I highly recommend it!

Beautiful craftsmanship
Beautiful knitting bowl. I love the color and craftsmanship. I didn't give it a five star only because the bowl was a bit smaller than I anticipated. Not sure now if the advertising gave the actual dimensions, and if so, then it is my fault for not checking that. Bowl arrived a head of shipping schedule and was packed well. I will definitely buy from Stardust Pottery again.

I had been wanting one.
A little disappointed, it was much smaller than I thought it would be. I wanted a bigger bowl to handle a BIG skein of yarn, I don't do tiny projects. It is very pretty though, from the picture I thought it would be black, when it got here it was green. Doesn't go with my decor so I can't set it out as I planned but it is a yarn bowl after all.

It's smaller than I thought it would be. You can't fit a regular ball in it but if you're using thread that fits perfectly. I will use it for that.Update: Cindy contacted and informed me she had additional sizes. See her comments below and buy, buy, buy with confidence.

Yarn Bowl
I loved it! It worked fantastic and the color was lovely. I got it to keep my yard somewhat neat since I have a dog who likes to walk off with my yarn from time to time. Unfortunately he knocked it off the coffee table with his tail. :-(
