Sanus Classic MLL10-B1 32 to 70-Inch Large Low Profile TV Wall Mount

I almost went with one of the cheaper wall mount solutions but I'm so glad now I purchased this Sanus. First off, this was bought to mount a Panasonic 60GT50 Plasma (60"). Upon opening - right off the bat - I noticed how heavy and well made all the parts of this wall mount are. No cheap, lightweight metal here. Secondly, this is supplied with pretty much any conceivable hardware/ screws/ spacers one might possibly need for mounting. In my case, the screw size I needed was M8 and there were three different length options I could choose from - very nice. Also, with the Panasonic Plasmas, a minimum of three inches of space - between the wall and the rear of the panel - are specified by Panasonic (for cooling purposes I suppose). With this Sanus kit, no problem. The required spacers and longer screws are included. As a side note, all of the screws, spacers, lag bolts and so forth seem to be of very good quality - not cheap crap as I have often read about the hardware supplied with some of the cheaper wall mount options.Intallation was pretty straight forward and the included instructiosn were easy to follow, just be sure to drill the pilot holes if mounting to studs, use the washers were specificed and DO NOT overtighten the bolts to the wall. One other feature of this wall mount I really apprceate is the option to lock the TV onto the mount - no way will anyone be stealing this off the wall...unless the wall goes with it, studs and all! Given the quality, no hassle/ ease of installation, this mount is a no brainer in my opinion - well worth the extra $20 or so over the cheaper options. Also note, this mount is UL listed for weight and use.

I ordered this mount for a Samsung 32 inch LCD tv. I wanted a low profile mount that was "overkill" as far as strength is concerned as this t.v. went in my son's room. The mount came in record time and was well packaged. The assorted screws, bolts, and spacers included with this mount would probably cost you 15.00 alone if you went to the store and bought them all. I was pretty astounded when I saw how much hardware came with this mount and would imagine that this is compatible with just about every brand out there.Installation was a breeze.....if you can find the studs in your wall, you can operate a drill, and know how to use a small torpedo level, you won't have any problems installing this mount. Basically, you attach the two support brackets to the back of the t.v. My Samsung had pre-drilled and tapped holes for mounts and was a flat configuration. Even if the back of your t.v. is not flat, they include spacers that will allow you to get this mount to work. Once they are attached, you then install the mount to the wall using four screws. Drywall or masonry the hardware needed is included.Once you have that bracket securely installed to the wall, you place the t.v. on to the bracket and then slide a security bar in the bottom and you are done. The job took me less than an hour and that included laying out all of the screws in order and final cleanup.It would take a heck of a lot of force to tear this from the wall. I am not sure what my Samsung t.v. weighs but this mount is not even fazed by it. The t.v. also covers up most of the mount so that you can't see much of it at most angles in the room.Great mount that made the job very easy to complete. Well satisfied with this product.

The 1st thing youi will note as you pick up youir delivery from your front door is the weight of this Flat Screen Wall Mount. I am from the :"Old School" where the weight of a product is directly related to its quality. In the old days you bought an item because it was solid and heavy made, meaning the parts inside were of good quality and well constructed ie: lasting quality. This mount is solid and heavy made. The actual mounting plate is made of full 1/8" steel plate. The larger round cut holes in the plate (looking a bit like aircraft frame) was probably necessary in reducing the overall weight. The slotted holes are numerous for any mounting decisions. The package contains, bolts, washers, spacers plenty enough for mounting any Flat Screen, and also inclues a variey of Toggle bolts, lead masonay anchors and regular bolts for different wall type mounting. As noted in description "Low Profile" its only 1.25" from wall to vertical mounts, Takes a minute to figure out how the slack is taken up where the 2 vertiacl mounts fit onto the horizontal wall plate, then you discover the slide in locking bar. The locking bar slides in completely across the wall mounting plate securing the verticals to the wall plate. The bar also comes with a hole in one end to slip a pad lock thru. This would deter thevies from a quick removal of your nice Flat Panel TV, they would have to pull the wall down to get away with it. This mount is designed for a fixed angle for viewing from striaght ahead, it does not swivil, or tilt and is not advertised to do so. Comes with full and informitive installation instructions.Cons: Have not seen anything wrong with this product,You can find less expensive mounts, but for under $50 you can't go wrong with this, my TV is only a 32" but I am confident the mount will hold as described up to a 63" with no problems.I would highly recommend this TV Wall mount.
