How to Use 1. This tool works best on hair that's only slightly damp. 2. Apply a twist and ice gel or your regular styling gel to slightly damp hair. 3. You may also apply some of your styling products to the sponge. 4. Use the sponge and go in a circular motion across your head. 5. Do not press heavily on hair. Spin in one direction only. 6. Within a matter minutes, you will have a head of perfectly formed twists.

Choose an alternative hair twisting/curling product
For me the jury is still out with increasing dissatisfaction with the product. It could be perhaps, that with my grade of hair, this product doesn't give much results- or simply, it isn't what I thought it was. The first usage produced no results and it was discouraging. I figure I'd give it a few more tries before I written a review. Maybe this product isn't for me, or I am not using it correctly. But judging on the nominal materials and a steep decline of the integrity of the product with each use, the learning curve would be minimal if I were to guess. At this rate, I will continue with my tired "wash and rinse" method which had far more results than this artifice of a product.
