I never really flossed before I got this because I hated the waste (and always forgot to buy floss) so when I saw this in my recommended products it was kind of a "why not?" purchase. Regarding other eco-friendly dental floss I can't comment on how this holds up, but this floss on it's own seems really good to me.No overwhelming flavour unlike floss I've used in the past. It's a little thicker than floss I've used before so it can be a little challenging to get between smaller gaps - but not impossible. As I said before, I haven't flossed in years (don't tell my dentist), but I remember feeling as though some dental floss could feel quite sharp and hurt my gums (maybe due to improper technique, idk), but this floss doesn't do that at all which I am very happy about.The glass container is actually quite stylish so I'm happy to have it out on the side as a reminder to floss, which I couldn't say the same about other packaging. I think this will be my new regular floss :)

This looks very stylish, is hopefully helping reduce the use of single use plastic and is an easy eco- friendly swap. It has a pleasant mint scent and flavour. My teeth are slightly over crowded and therefor very close together, it has taken a couple of attempts to get used to using this item as it doesn’t have the typical plastic coating that helps traditional floss glide between the teeth easier. That said, I believe the environmental benefits out weigh any slight inconvenience on my part. It is a product that does what it says. It also has a very generous amount of floss so works out as good value for money compared to the traditional plastic high street floss unused before. Delivery date as advertised.

I’ve rarely flossed before but always used the plastic grip ones previously. Wanted something more environmentally friendly and this is a nice little floss, however, some of my teeth are very tight together so I struggle to use it in thin gaps. Fine for people with more evenly spaced teeth!

I was so excited to try this and it seemed great when it turned up. Lovely packaging and scent and taste of vanilla. EXCEPT. It constantly breaks between the teeth. I’ve just spent half an hour trying to remove a strand that broke off between my teeth and it constantly happens. I so wanted to give this 5 stars but it’s incredibly weak. If you have teeth that aren’t particularly tightly packed/close together you might be ok.

I purchased this item as I wanted to stop using plastic based dental-floss picks; however, this natural corn dental floss, although it comes in recyclable packaging and a refillable glass case, the floss itself isn't very durable. The floss breaks very easy after doing 1-2 gaps between my teeth so I find I have to use a lot of it unnecessarily. Unfortunately I wont be buying a refill.

I was looking for a biodegradable alternative to plastic brushpicks, having had mixed experiences with floss. I liked that this is a natural product in a glass recyclable jar in a cardboard box. It is absolutely tiny which is not clear in the product listing. Why not have a size measure next to it? I was expecting to reuse the bottle as a small vase but it is too small.Unfortunately I found the floss too wide to get between my teeth comfortably. This is also the problem I have with wooden toothpicks which I don't like as they have fluoride coating and often splinter. Their origin is also often unclear. As I need to clean between my teeth daily, I have returned to using plastic brushpicks, which I will try to recycle via tetracycle.So a wasted buy for me.

Every time I use this floss, my teeth are left feeling miles apart - in a good way. What's really special about this product is its clever (and very slick) design - here we have a glass jar, with a metal lid and a big roll of floss-string within the jar. There's even a gap for the string to leave the jar through the lid so that you can simply pull on this string and use it to floss your teeth with utmost ease, not worrying about misplacing your bundle of floss. How long is a piece of floss? I don't know but I hope I don't run out of this one for a long time.

I have been flossing for years and have only recently switched to using this floss. I have given it 5 stars because unlike other flosses I have used, it is gentle on the gums and cleans the gaps in between my teeth thoroughly. In the past, I used to regularly get floss stuck in between my teeth, so I am thrilled to have found Better Eco’s floss that does the job so well and glides freely between my teeth.
