Used for safety shut off when dealing with electrical pump. I guess it works. It has shut off when electricity goes out. Must push re-set button. I just feel safer.

This is comforting to have. I use it infront of my power strip in my aquarium. I know it works because it trips when a blackout occurs.I was uncomfortable sticking my hands in an aquarium’s with lots of electric devices. Then I found this. Excellent price and quality, after my first blackout tripped this device it took m`e a moment to figure out why power has not been restored to my tank. Once I remembered I had setup this gfi, I pushed the reset button and poof, power. I highly recommend this if you have to expose yourself to a water/electricity mix

use this every year, and when it rains this trips and protects my breakers and the WEMO outlet controller inline from too much current.

Great product. I have a heat wrap on my Fig trees for winter. The heat wrap strongly recommends a GFI as close the the Heat wrap as possible. I ran an extension cord 50' to the greenhouse, put this GFI on the end and it works perfect! What a great solution. I was going to put in a GFI plug but with that much extension it would likely be too much. The heat wrap (also from Amazon) has a light in the plug so I can easily tell if it's still getting power.

Good extra level of safety on my aquarium.

Product works as expected. Like the bright yellow as it makes it noticeable.After first thinking the GFCI was broken, I realized that the breaker has to be reset each time it is unplugged.

It seems to work ok. Delivers supply and trips when tested. However, the instructions do not relate to the product version as received.The information refers to LED status indicators, but there is no such indicator on the device itself. You can’t tell whether it has been tripped, except by the fact that no current is flowing in the load. The feature of auto-trip once the power is removed ( ie device unplugged) is good. My main use of this device is in the garage,where the receptacle typically supplies my snowblower starter and various gardening tools, plus lithium battery charger.

This GFCI device trips every time it’s unplugged or lost power. It needs manual reset to turn it back on.

Works, convenient but could be less expensive.
