I loved this book
I loved this book!! I first stumbled across this book at the library. After renewing it endlessly and paying numerous fines I decided to buy this book so I could refer this forever! :-)Here are some reasons why you would want to get this book:1) To find creative, fun and thoughtful ways to create a bucket list.A simple example from the book : Learn to do that thing you have always wanted to do - What is the one thing you have always wanted to do? How are you going to learn it? Can you take lessons? Can someone teach you? This book forces you to stop and think what YOU want. It also suggests simple ways to take action(most important reason we have a bucket list in the first place!!).I always wanted to learn calligraphy. So one fine day when I read this chapter I enrolled for a 2 day class and I loved the experience! Plus I learnt a new skill. Say what???2) To explore meaningful ways to spend your free time.Example: Do something awesome for your family, create your own recipe for a food you love, organize a pamper yourself day.Reasons you wouldn't want to get this book:1) If you are looking to copy someone else's list. (Use google)2) If you want a list of items to check for the heck of it.( Use google)

I am now happily assembling one
This book helped me re-think the rest of my life. I didn't have a bucket-list before. I am now happily assembling one, very personalized, based on the humorous and creative suggestions in this book.

Disapointed
I was looking for a book that woluld give me guidance on the process of developing a bucket list. Instead it was just a bunch of bucket list items to think about. Even on the cover it said - "MAKE YOUR OW BUCKET LIST, How to desgin yours before you kick it". Note it says HOW TO!Looks like the graphics are ths same cheesey ones in the parachute books.Bottom line, not what I was looking for.

Not what I thought!
I guess I should have looked closer at the item. I thought there would be a list that I could reference. Just don't have the patience to sit down and read everything.

Fantastic, well written and well illustrated
This is fantastic, there's a single page introduction followed by a goal to every two pages, accompanied by zany victoriana or punch magazine style illustrations and art work, the book finishes with an index which lists all the goals, with a column for tick marks. Each of the chapters is an idea for something to do as a buck list item and there is space to write about how you achieved it and what it involved etc. prompts are included to get the creative writing side in gear. A lot of what the book suggests is not that difficult to guess, suggestions of a similar kind exist online no doubt but its all worded in a great fashion and makes you think about whether you achieved it or havent or need to. Its all eminently achievable stuff though, nothing too crazy or two mundane.I bought a copy second hand and it had an inscription on in the inside cover which suggests someone had bought it to someone as a retirement gift and as such it would be a great idea I guess. Recommended whether you're retiring or not though.

Great Gift
Bit quirky and different! Will have fun filling out all the questions. Some are serious some are thrown in there for a bit of humour
