This is a little more like a professional barber would use than an amateur would use. There are many adaptors for different cutting lengths, and the bag it all fits in is really soft and high quality. But the sheer number of attachments is a little intimidating at first. I'm an amateur and growing my first beard, so I couldn't just open the box and start trimming. Fortunately, there are paper instructions included (but with type so tiny I need a magnifying glass). Also, fortunately, I have a friend who styles hair who explained several things to me. But the machine itself works great, is quiet, and has a long battery life.

I've had a couple of $20 – $30 trimmers that I've used for years until they broke, and I should have expected the jump in quality with these trimmers, but I'm still surprised by how much better these are. I don't have to make multiple passes to cut everything. There are more cutting heads for more body areas. The buzz is a gentle hum, not an abrasive drone. The pieces fit together more securely. The switch is nicer. It's just an all-around impressive trimmer.

I have a beard and this is a nice trimmer. it came with a lot of attachment and sizes to use. Strong motor and sharp blades. This is replacing an old phillups beard trimmer I have had for many years. So old it was probably their first on they made. The battery seems to last. I charged it Christmas day and have not had to charge since. I think she is using it too. But she don't have a beard?

This is a great trimmer for body and face. But for the people who cut their own hair and especially ones who do fades, this will not replace a hair clipper set. The choices for head hair attachment are very minimal and even using the beard attachments you won't be able to get a smooth fade like a good clipper set does. Having said that this feels very high quality. The trimmer body is steel and will last a long time, the attachments are made of quality plastics and the battery to charge ratio is really good. All in all I'm happy with the purchase just can't get a good smooth fade.

I just needed a basic beard trimmer and this worked out just fine. Comes with a lot of attachments, to the point it's a bit confusing because not all of them will fit on all of the heads. Head changing requires a bit of force and the reason why they say it needs no oil is because the engine shaft is covered with what looks like zinc grease. One foreseeable potential annoyance is that trimming a beard to shorter length requires me to start with the wide cutting head and then changing it for a narrower cutting head. During the swap, or while one of the heads is waiting on the counter to be used, some hair can fall into the driving mechanism. Overall for my casual beard trimming use I think it's pretty great so 5 starts in that context, but for more active long use frequent head changes might be annoying to people. The bag sold with the item is very practical and looks pretty nice too.

Everything you need and then some. It's worth paying the extra for the kit with the leather storage bag (I admittedly bought this set when it was half off the regular price but would have happily paid full price).The body is solid and feels good in your hand. The razor heads (comes with 2) cuts accurately without pulling any hairs. The plastic guards have a wide variety of lengths, easy to put on and of very good quality. Easy to clean...basically everything my last trimmer (norelco 7200 series w/vaccum...which was garbage as it was mostly plastic where it shouldn't be and broke after 6 uses) lacked this set made up for. I see this set lasting years.

This groomer may be a bit more expensive than the ones you see hanging up in plastic cases at your local Wal-mart, but the quality you get for the few extra dollars is quite worth it ($71..99). It has a good feel to the hand, quiet operation, and a powerful motor. It has 29 accessories and a travel bag everything stores in nicely. Accessories sometimes seem to be an afterthought, but these are quality items - I especially like the scissors with their own pouch and the brush that can I have even used as a hair brush. The only negative I see is the quality of the bag. I wonder how durable it will be over the long-haul, but this would not have prevented me from purchasing if I'd known.

I researched heavily about new men’s all-in-one shavers because my old Wahl finally died. I wanted to find a trimmer/shaver that I would be proud to have displayed, but most importantly, that would work in all the areas needed. I finally decided on the Norelco MG7791 and so glad I did. At first unboxing I was impressed, the trimmer itself has a nice weight to it. That makes it look and feel like a good product. The trimmer guards are a thick plastic; this is good because the teeth will not easily bend or break. The guards have identifiers on them so you know exactly what they do, plus there’s a guide in the instructions. This trimmer does everything from hair and beard to nose/ear and body. I first used it to trim my hair and beard. It was sturdy, easy to hold, and trimmed perfectly. I’m no professional so it took me a couple of passes. I’m not ready to try the fade guards, but if you are their are two included. A couple of weeks later I used it to trim again and the battery was still fully charged with no loss in trimming ability. In the first few weeks of owning, I’m very happy with the choice to go with this all purpose trimmer.
