i do really like this camera
First off, if you order this camera and are looking for the free video and book, dont bother. its not in there. you have to go online and view or download it. i didnt bother with either. I could probably take a 1/2 star away for what I would consider being misleading. WHAT I WOULD CONSIDER. With that being said, i do really like this camera. i have bought and installed several of the lower end $20.00 cameras and was ok with the quality of the camera, but you get what you pay for... a 20.00 camera. I use this camera for my Farenheit TI-931NB Inteq Single DIN Multimeadia IndashSource with 9.3-Inch Oversize Hang Down Screen, My Pioneer AVH-200BT In-dash DVD/CD/MP3 Receiver, and my Pioneer AVH-X3500BHS 2-DIN Multimedia DVD Receiver with 6.1 WVGA. the picture on all of them are crystal clear! the setup is a breeze, even without the book or video. The construction on this device is very sturdy, powder coated metal, not plastic like most of the others. Put out the few dollars extra and get what i consider a very good buy.

Works well, good picture day and night
I'd give this a 5 but due to the fact that you can get the exact same thing cheaper here at Amazon drives the rating down. The package and website all claim that there is a video and documentation on this unit which is false. There is a video for a completely different unit that helps maybe a little. Get the Ezeteck for $10 less. It is the exact same thing and comes with no instructions either. Simple to hook up otherwise, but be aware that you have to snake wires to your backup lamps or to some reverse trigger to make it all work correctly. Some cars are easy, some no so easy.

This was purchased for my short mother. She is just 4' 8" and has trouble seeing out of vehicles. This makes backing up safe. She can see so much more with this camera than she could even if she was 6' tall. The picture is very clear. The guidelines also make it easy to know how far you are from an object.The installation was easy. The camera angle was easy to adjust to ensure the best viewing angle.I will definitely be getting another one for my own vehicle.

Save your money dont buy.
When I first ordered this backup camera I was very excited to have it installed. They really seemed to back this product up with a 1 year no questions asked warranty. They emailed me a few times to see how the camera was working but after 6 months the picture quality took a turn for the worst it became very blurry. I emailed cosmic optic on multiple occasions with no response. Save your money don't buy or buy a higher quality one.
