It's what i was looking for in a jumprope
Unlike other jump ropes, this one came at my length. No added weights in the handles. And, I don't have to wait for the jump rope to rotate. I know it's coming. With other jump ropes I had to put extra muscle to assure that the rope would make it around me. This jump rope has less drag.

impossible to use for workouts
Purchased to use for jump rope workouts - this was a mistake as this rope is poorly designed. Used it one time and it tangled and would continually tangle mid-workout. Made it impossible to complete my workout without constantly stopping to detangle the rope. I have a much cheaper, completely basic design jump rope that is better than this one and doesn't tangle at all.

Not very useful if it bunches up
It bunches up in the middle of using it. I could get to about 25/30 jumps before I had to stop and untangle it.

Not Comfortable to use
This jump rope feels like a low quality made. The Fila logos disappear after 2 weeks of use and its rope is so light that you can't feel it rotating nor feel the whip. Didn't recommend.

Nice product
Nice product, useful. However I lost a tip of one of the handles while I was using it for the first time

Nice starter rope
A good rope for a beginner. Kiddo is only 7 and struggled with larger and heavier ropes. This is light and super adjustable. It doesn't say on the package, but all you do is unscrew the end, pull the plastic bit apart and slide it to where you want, trim if needed. Pop it all back together and you are good to go. I've added a pic to show you the disassembly. For him since he's just learning I had him stand in the middle then pull the handles up till they were shoulder high. Once he gets better I'll shorten to a little above his armpits. Nice thing is that for $9 I can easily replace it when he outgrows it. My only complaint is a personal preference, I love how easily it turns in your hands but the rope itself is rather light, I prefer a cable type... well right up until I accidentally whack myself with it, yeowch.

10 bucks? Okay!
If you're not sure you're going to be using a speed rope daily or not yet, grab this. The price won't hurt and it's decent enough that if you're going to make roping a part of your routine any issues you have with it aren't going to stop you.Handles don't quite fit my hands like I'd like, but nothing does really. Guess that part of me is misshapen too. The quality is good enough that by the time you tear them up, 10 bucks will be a bargain and while you can't whip this one through the air like a really good rope, you'll still get a good rhythm and pace going.Getting started? Grab it. It'll be worth it. Been jumping rope for 5 years? Stop being a cheapskate.

FILA Jump Rope - Looks good, good quality, and works fine
I was using a jump rope that I bought recently at a dollar store - which also used vinyl coated rope. However, the handles on that product showed clearly that it was a cheap product.Rope on this FILA product looks just like that of the cheap product, but handles are of substantially better quality. Grip, weight, appearance, and feel of the handles is quite good.FILA claims that the the rope is adjustable, but hasn't shown anywhere how do adjust the length. I would assume the end caps of the handles can be opened, but it is not obvious. I don't need to adjust my rope, so I didn't venture to figure out how to open the end caps.If you are buying a jump rope for serious workout, then you should buy this product or a similar one. If you are buying for entertainment or for children, you may be fine with the dollar store product.
