I bought this for my 2001 John Deere LX277, price was a few dollars more than some of the others, and it stated original equipment, which basically what I was looking for. That being said this fit perfect, color was very good, looks like a excellent color match, it took about 30 minutes or less to install 4 easy to get at self taping bolts to remove, did not have to remove anything but the part I was replacing. I placed my order February 2nd, -- arrived February 5th by Fed-X damage free. It did not come with any installation bolts /screws, I used my own that I took off the replacement hood. Also no decals hood, is solid green.

Fits like the original. No decals though.

Fit just like it supposed to. Four screws out,four screws back in. Took about five minutes to install. Made a twenty five year old tractor look new again. Very happy with the purchase.

Remove 4 screws nd lift the top portion of the hood off.(this part) Place the new one in place and tighten the four screw. It took 10 minutes to replace! decals are not included so you have to order separately if that maters to you.

Awesome piece, looks great and fits even better. A very well build piece and now the 19 year old mower look great. A plus would have been to have the decals included at the high price. Don't even have to be adhered to the hood, just loose would be fine.

Our used mower is pretty old but still work well. Due to age and weather (mostly heat) the top engine cover cracked in several places making our mower out of commission for a while. This part came in good time and fit beautifully! Our mower looks good and works well!
