I have been searching decades for a knife I can rely on for everyday carry and use. I finally found it in this Elite Tactical Knife (ETK)! This knife is way better than the Fairbaine Applegate knife I paid $90 for 22 years ago. I stopped carrying that knife because the clip is too short and it would fall out of my pocket regularly. This ETK has an excellent clip. It holds secure but not so stiff it doesn't want to come out, like the Hoffman Richter (HR) pocket knife I have. The HR is also too heavy to carry every day. This ETK however, is of a good, sturdy weight but too heavy. I held this ETK under running water and I was still able to open it up with one hand easily. I can't do that with the Hoffman Richter which has a slippery body and tight release. I'm impressed that I can quickly open up this ETK with one hand, whether it is clipped to my right or left front pocket. I can't do that with my other assisted opening knives. This knife is also very sharp and nice looking as well. But above all, I am impressed by how its makers paid attention to so much detail from the point of view of the knife user. It's obvious the makers of my other knives didn't do that. This Air Force Elite Tactical Knife is the best knife I've every owned!

This knife is out right SHARP both literally and figuratively. Mine had a very nice edge right out of the box, and really looks great. Very well made. Size was what you would expect for an EDC knife. Easy to open, but not loose it does take some effort to open which in my opinion is good. Understand it is NOT hard to open it does have a spring assest. So far I have nothing negative to say about this purchase. After reading other reviews I don't see anyone not loving this knife. If your looking for an every day carry knife that displays your branch of service look no further, you've found it.

I bought this for my nephew and we all LOVED it! Perfect gift and we love that it comes from a Veteran-owned company. It's solid but not heavy and is very sharp.

I have many knives. Sheath knives, filet knives pocket knives, hunting knives, skinning knives and the list goes on. I have purchased other quick release knives from more well known companies, paid a lot more for some than I did this one and I can honestly say, this is the absolute best quick release pocket knife I’ve ever had. The more expensive and more well known knives don’t even come close. This is tough, durable, easy to sharpen and holds a good edge. I bought my first one to try it out, not expecting much but I’ve gone on to buy more that a dozen, giving some to my friends, having extra in storage in case I lose the one I’m carrying and just to have others on hand when I need them. Boat, four wheeler, camper, three in my truck. My wife, grown children and grown grandchildren either carry this one or the black frame one. The black frame Air Force knife is equally as good as the silver one but I like the silver one better because it fits my hand better and is more streamlined. Same quality, durability and very reasonably priced too. As I write this I’m ordering three more to have them on hand. Great gifts for the serious outdoors person.

I received this product after several delays. The only instruction that came with it was to be very careful opening it because you could be hurt. It is a bit complicated. When I called the support number I got a machine that said it sold photography equipmentI tried emailing & the email was rejected.Right now, I'm frustrated & disgusted. Have no idea how to open & test. This is a military style knife. I have never been in the military or else I probably wouldn't need instructions. I wanted this particular item because I need something to open well-sealed boxes and I thought the glass-puncher for escaping from inside a car was a good thing to have in a car, ditto the seat-belt cutter (which operation is pretty obvious) since I often struggle with seat belts. Next step is to revisit the site & see if there is a video or something. [Found a video for another knife but it was not helpful.]LATERRevised review about a month later: What I wrote above in frustration remains the same; however, I have since consulted a person who has more mechanical aptitude (& strength in her hands) than I do and she was able to show me how to open & close the knife. After trying this a few times, I got better at it & the mechanism also seems to work easier after being opened & closed a few times. So I would recommend the knife. Haven't had any occasion (thank God) to try the window puncher or seat belt cutter. The company should still include a diagram explaining how to open & close the thing. The blade is just right for opening stubbornly sealed boxes of thick cardboard. It would also be helpful to explain how the window puncher works. After looking at another window puncher (whose sole purpose was for that), their directions were very clear & surprising & their product comes with a piece of glass to demonstrate the usage for yourself to try. I hope this widow puncher works the same way & that I never have to findbout.

My 11year old found out just how sharp this blade is straight outta the box. It cuts thru juvenile flesh very easily. He would rate this 4 fingers up out of 5. I should rate this 1 star because his mother is very angry with me, and yelled at me for a solid 10 minutes about how I should have been watching him and how irresponsible of me. On the plus side, the cut was sooo smooth that I can't even see a scar! I am giving this knife 5 stars due to the awesome cut, great life lesson for my 11 year old, and the quiet time that I have enjoyed, sleeping on the couch!
