My 5 1/2 yr old son absolutely loves to read it.

Refreshingly different.
While this is different from Amar Chitra Katha both in terms of graphics and story telling, the difference is refreshing. Interestingly, our kids (younger than 8 years) are thoroughly enjoying nightly reads of this comic.

Fascinating vernacular religion
This is a fascinating exercise in vernacular religion. Many people do not realize that there are Hindu, Muslim, and of course Christian superheroes and other comic book and graphic novel treatments of religion. Religion is not only in church and never has been.

Sri Krishna came alive with such true to life illustrations. It keeps kids engaged telling them about Sri Krishna.downside: author Called Sri Krishna MYTH & I strongly protest the use of a Western & desert religion influenced. not cutting any star coz "One who believes Dont need explanation & one who don't There is NO explanation.

Not what I was expecting
Its a comic book. I was expecting a novel.

Excellent illustrations and good storytelling.
Covers most important events of Krishna's lifetime from birth to death. Suggested reading for ALL kids above 10 years of age.

Very graphic, but not a novel...
The book is well conceived and thought out, but it still lacks certain aspects of a graphic novel or any novel perhaps. The artwork is visually stunning, even breathtaking, if one does not expect the quality this book provides. Coming back to the story, it is laid rather flatly, the story moves by flipping pages rather than by the action of the characters. The dialogues are short, the actions are even shorter.Overall the book is quite good and unique in its own fashion. I have read my own share of graphic novels, this one will be in my library for its breathtaking artwork and unique attempt.
