I am a professional stylist and I would recommend this iron to clients.
As a professional stylist I look for very specific features in flat irons when I recommend them. I am here to say ladies, this is a very good iron. 1. It has Titanium plates, which us very important for good heat distribution and not scraping or pulling the hair while styling. I would definitely consider this a ,"one pass", iron, as well as good for tender headed ladies who worry about their hair being pulled, because your hair just floats right through it. Also, this makes the iron easy to clean if it gets build up. 2. It heats up very fast and gives you the ability to adjust the temperature completely. 3. That price! You can't beat it. 4. It works just as good as my professional Croc iron. 5. The floating plates really are functional and do help prevent iron creases in the hair. Just press, don't squeeze the iron hard when using. You should do this no matter what type of iron you use. The only negatives are that it is kind of huge, which could make it hard for some people to use, but is also good to use on very long hair. Also, the outer case is very thin, so there is some heat transfer to the outer surface. Plus, be careful about dropping it because it might shatter the outer case. I do wish they would not advertise it as a wet to dry iron, because unless you are having a professional service like Japanese Hair straightening or Keratin done, you should pretty much never iron wet hair. You are super heating the water molecules inside your hair when you do this, essentially boiling your hair and potentially damaging it. I won't know how well the motor on it holds up until months from now, at which point I will come back and update the review. It will get a workout for sure since I am a stylist for a living. Overall, I am very impressed with this iron. I only wish they offered a skinnier size as well, which would be easier for some people to use.

I’d buy it again
Works great- and travels well. I used it all over Europe and now daily at home. My hair is smooth/shiny after each use. It heats up quickly and the dial lets you set it for a wide range of hair types.

Easy to use, gets the job done, great for the price !
My Paul Mitchell straightener that I have had for 10 years + is on the fritz. Long story short I am in a remote area of the Big Island of Hawaii on business and there aren't exactly Ultas on every corner or fancy hair salons that I can go to and shop at. So I was looking for something cheap that got the job done and can hold me over until I go home. The first time I used it right away I noticed that it doesn't really have a strong grip on your hair. You have to clamp down with your own strength. It heats up fast, has a nice temperature dial, nice bright red & green indicator lights.. stays hot.. def gets my hair straight... very easy to use, stays put on the counter... the cord is not a hassle.. I think the white is pretty... it's perfect for what I need right now! It will be a great back up straightener - when I get home I will be shopping for a bougie one - and I'll be interested to see how the comparison goes : )

Review
It's a 10/10! It gets super hot, and I love the quality. It shuts off if you haven't been using it, and it passes through the hair smoothly, leaving it flat.

BETTER THAN EXPECTED!!! QUALITY AND VALUE - LOVE IT!!!!
To being with: I'm a white woman, of Italian-Norwegian decent with very naturally curly hair that falls below my shoulders....I bought this iron in September after my Babyliss flat iron "died". I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a replacement but was looking for something with similar titanium plates as Babyliss has - best for me and my daughter's naturally thick and wavy/curly hair. We were looking back and forth between another iron and this one and finally my daughter was like 'just get this one, the reviews are good and looks really nice'. I wanted to stay within the $25.00 range as I had an Amazon gift card I wanted to use for it. Well, we got it and on my first use (back in Sept.) I couldn't believe it! I showed my husband and he said it looked like the way my hair dresser does it! And my daughter was so impressed as well. I didn't want to leave a review yet as I was skeptical and wanted to give it time, thinking it's still too soon after a couple of uses. Well, here we are in January and I've been hooked on this flat iron!! Not only can I say, in my opinion better than the Babyliss I had, it's faster to get the job done by far, doesn't pull my hair, and smooths my hair that I can let it be for a couple of days with minor touch ups in between. I would soooooo recommend this flat iron and actually have to co-workers - as they have asked how I got my hair so nice at the time when I first got this iron. I would never, ever use on wet hair - I think I read it somewhere that you can - absolutely don't - your hair would get ruined for sure. I use it like I did with my Babyliss with a hair protectant spray and then some argan smoothing oil or the Garnier natural oil to smooth out my hair when I'm all finished. This flat iron is such great quality for the money and one of the best hair tools I have in my arsenal. And the colors are beautiful as well with the rose gold and white combo - very classy! :) Love this iron and would definitely buy it again! ***UPDATED August 5, 2024*** I still have this flat iron...It's truly amazing!!! I gifted my daughter he own back in 2022 since she loved this product so much also. We still both have "crazy" textured, natural curly hair and this flat iron does the job and quick too. I also got the hang of doing the waves/flips with this too - the vent side is awesome! I really hope it doesn't die out on me, but if it does, I will be repurchasing this product again!!!

Stopped working a little after 1 month of light use
I bought both colors of this flat iron this past Prime Day. At first, I loved it! It heated up quickly and the width and length of the heat plates made heat styling my hair a breeze. When the pink one stopped working a little over a month after I received it, I changed my mind. It will not heat up. When switched on, it appears to be heating up, then it shuts down after a few minutes and it is cool to the touch. I really only used it a hand full of times, and I have pretty thin hair so it did not get much use at all.

Works Internationally
I bought this because I needed a hair iron to take on an international trip and most that I was finding weren't actually dual voltage. This worked great overseas as well as here at home. It heats up fast and I've had no problem with it. It heats hair from the outside-in rather than inside-out (unlike ceramic), which I knew buying it, so no loss of points there. There is no stand, so you have to lay it flat. This was a bit of a problem simply because the power cord is so heavy. In spite of the 360-degree turnability of the cord, its weight makes the iron want to pull off my sink. I have to be careful how I place the iron. I wish there was a curved portion to this so I could do my bangs. The plates are so wide that they make my bangs stick out from my head instead of curving down nicely, in spite of my best attempts to curl it using my wrist. However, it does fine on my main hair. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this.
