Overall, very pleased with the Bonlex 3L hydration bladder. Out of the box, I filled it with water and, just as other reviewers have said, there weren't any funny tastes or smells.Something cool that's worth noting (and isn't present on the other hydration bladders I've used) is the check valve on the bladder, where it initially connects to the hose. With the check valve, you can disconnect the hose and water won't immediately rush out, which means you can remove the bladder from your pack for filling/cleaning and not have to re-route the drink hose.My only complaint (and this very well could be user error) is with the bite valve. I had to orient the hose and valve in a certain way to get water to flow freely. I will probably try replacing the stock angled bite valve with a straight one to see if that improves water flow but otherwise have zero issues with this product.

Center seam does not hold up well. I wear/carry my rig up to 10 hours per day, both mounted and dismounted. I was looking for something that would maintain a flatter profile while mobile.Took a drink and the water was awful so I pulled the bladder to dump it for a refill and the center seam was blown. Was amazed it hadn't begun to leak.Still rides reasonably comfortable when mounted which is the only reason I'm giving 3 stars. Expect failure if using in a vehicle or while carry a ruck.

Took this elk hunting with a full pack. The gasket around the water cap leaked because the gasket wasn’t installed correctly and all my stuff got wet. Fixed the gasket and the next day it started to leak from the bladder quick connect. Also when you suck on it you will get air if the bite block is spun out of alighnment. Also a cold morning (20deg f )froze the line quickly within 60-90 min even though it’s “insulated”.

Really a great product. I use if for hiking and biking and it's super user friendly, doesn't drip and the lock for the mouth piece is really great. The fact that it comes apart for cleaning is great too. They thought of everything but the handle on the bladder and the mouth piece cover. I will buy another one for sure.

I received this a day early so I was pretty happy about that. I was looking for a bladder that would not leak and could take some punishment on a ruck march or camping;And I have found just that in this product I got the 3l size to last throughout a day. I have used plenty of these before during my time in the army and I believe this puts the standard issue bladders to shame.

We have bought several bladders for long distance hiking and bought this to take on a long hike through Canyonlands and the Grand Canyon. For the price you really can't beat it. Works perfectly and seems well-made, and also carries more water than anything else for the same price

all around excellent! perfect size and it stays slim when filled up. I can attach my frontier water filter directly to it and never run out of clean water.

It's a nice hydration pack. I like just about everything about it such as the way the components work clip with one another. The quality is there.
