Trying to keep weight down & preserve my slim handrail feel, so I did not want to add an extra side rail for sling attachment. Put this on my top rail with swivel & it works perfectly. Price is on par with other high quality sling mounts.

Easy to install and doesn't take up much room on the rail. Gives you a lot of flexibility in the positioning of your sling

Exactly what I needed for my M4, it's the perfect companion for my VTAC sling. It's really personal preference, but I like having the mount on the top rail as opposed to the side, and this is an excellent solution.
