I needed a new pull starter handle and housing, for only pennies more this kit includes a new spark plug, carburetor, air filter, and many other parts that are likely to fail on your Honda (or clone) 9hp engine. Everything fit, lined up, and quality was better than expected for the price. Do NOT expect this to be all "Honda quality" parts...but honestly for the money you cannot go wrong. I have had plenty of "OEM" Honda parts go bad so why not give this a try? If I had a business that depended on a Honda motor like this (think water pumps, compactors, generators, etc) I would definitely have this entire kit waiting on the shelf so if something fails, I'm back up and running fast....time is money!

Have an older log splitter with Honda motor, replaced old leaking carburetor with this one, started right back up-took about 10 minutes.
