This item worked perfect for me. It's much better than a solid duct. I used a 4" hole saw and the flexible duct will go through with no problems. When i tried to fit a solid duct through the same hole...not a chance. I purchased this for a bathroom fan and i;m very happy with it. Easy to pull and to make any necessary turn. The price was competitive as I tried multiple other web sites.

Whoever put the dryer vent into the foundation put it on the other side of our house, so the ductwork under the house has to run approximately 27 feet. The dryer ductwork that runs under the house is broken, it's the middle of winter, wet under the house and to get under the house, someone must come into the house to get to the trap door that opens to the underside of the house (not with COVID running rampant). And the clothes are not drying properly. Lots of lint and it takes 3 hours to dry a small load. We needed extra long duct work so my husband could run it from the dryer vent out the back garage door through an old cat door. Yes! We have to step carefully down into the garage for a few months until someone can come into the house so as not to step on the hose, but the clothes are now drying properly. I'm not familiar with regular ductwork for dryers but my husband says this is super thin and fragile, but it's working as designed (by my husband). Oh! and it came the next day in plenty of time to install it.

Used with a in-duct fan for a fume extractor while welding. Nice and long. Hooked it from a window up to ceiling and over to my welding table. Works great. Material may be a little too delicate for rough everyday use, but for my purpose it works fine.

I was getting some moisture dripping in my crawl space and slow drying times from a poorly pieces together duct, so I purchased this product because I wanted a 20+ ft single duct. It worked perfectly, no more moister and improved drying times!

Real aluminum foil duct hose. It's great for dryer venting I think.
