Awful! These connectors are cheap and useless. While they do connect headphones to the apple adaptor, that’s pretty much all they’re good for. They do not allow you to use the microphone, play/pause, volume button on headphones, and stopped working in less than 1 week. At least I have a spare connector since this set comes with 2 but I’m sure that will be broken in no time. Disappointment.

They play music will for iPhone headphones. But they don’t relay call audio at all. The remote on you headphones won’t work at all when you use it. There is a slight crackle in the background. Trash. Trash. Trash. Just go to Apple and pay $9 for one. Because this product DOESN'T DO 60% OF WHAT IT IS SUPPOSED TO. Came just in time for my trip. Good thing they are no good. Wouldn’t want to get what I Paid for 🙄

My second purchase, only because, during the request for the return for the first order, no option are rendered to replace with a different item if your request is to replace. Therefore, this second purchase, (that replaced the first order) I will request a refund and then order the item I believe is a better option for iOS devices.

I guess I should know better ordering non Apple items. This is the second time I have ordered a non Apple product from a secondary seller and been burned on Amazon. Received these just the other day and they do not work with my Apple Phone. Trying to return stuff isn't worth the time, so consider this item garbage!

You receive two of these adapters when you purchase this. The first one broke while plugging it in the very first time. The second one works for now. The ratings page is giving me the opportunity to rate this item on sound quality, volume control and value. The sound quality is as good as your headphones, there is no volume control or any other control (this only passes through the sound on the headphones, you can't pause, answer calls, skip songs, etc.), the value is bad because at a 50% failure rate you're better off purchasing the original thing from the phone manufacturer. You get all the functionality back. That's what I ended up doing.

After 1 month of light use, one of the 2 adapters became loose from the lightening cable end, and began intermittently working, then completely not working within 10 minutes of noticing the issue. I'm on to the 2nd one. (I guess it's good that 2 come in a package.) Not happy about it. Especially for something that should be necessary in the first place.***Original Review***It’s super annoying to even need these adapter/dongles for the iPhone, but glad to find a reasonably priced 2 pack for when I loose mine. Which is bound to happen. The 2 shipped to me were almost identical to the one that came with my phone originally.

The audio when using this adapter has continuous background noise. I thought that this might be a problem with getting audio through the lightning connector, but then I bought an official Apple adapter cable and there is no noise. Not worth the low price.

Neither one works. Have tried in 3 phones with two different sets of earphones.
