NeuEve BV Clear for <45 | for Vaginal Odor and Bacterial Vaginosis Relief | pH-Balancing and Deals with Gardnerella Vaginalis and Recurrent BV

As an RN, I've always been reluctant to use antibiotics unless absolutely necessary. Since BV is actually not an 'infection', but an imbalance in normal flora, this product has been such a relief to find. I had recently fought an episode of BV for well over a month, miserable and mortified by the odor that would quickly return, despite showering twice a day. (SO embarrassing!) I desperately tried other brands of suppositories, folic acid and Vitamin C tablets by mouth, douching with vinegar and water, etc., with no success. The NeuEve product worked almost immediately to finally eliminate the odor and start the 'rebalancing' process. The routine that I finally settled on was to douche with a half strength solution of peroxide and water x 3 nights right before bed. On the third night, immediately follow with an apple cider vinegar half strength douche and then the first of the 3 NeuEve suppositories afterward. 3 (and then 6) nights later I used one of the other 2 suppositories. This combination finally allowed me to see a return to 'normal' life. I would recommend using panty liners each day as needed after the suppositories are used, since there may be some light discharge, but this is usually only needed on the first day. Also, as a tip to others who might have been experiencing lingering odor on their clothes (BV odor is SO difficult to eliminate), I found that using a cup of vinegar in the washing machine water and soaking the clothes for about 3 hours or so before adding detergent and completing the cycle totally worked. You may think that your clothes would smell like salad dressing afterwards, but they definitely don't. None of the pre-treatment attempts with disinfectants and deodorizers I had tried worked a fraction as well or as quickly as the vinegar did. I'm going to keep NeuEve on hand from now on so I can start treatment myself right away if I have any future issues, without having to resort to harsh, expensive medications or waiting for doctor appointments.

Administering the product is like trying to squeeze a stick of butter through a keyhole. The first order arrived and was mush. I opened up another dose and tried using a supposition applicator, but the product just stuck to the applicator like peanut butter. The item was replaced and this time I stuck it in the freezer before using it, still didn’t work. The suppository just melted on my fingers. Can’t tell if the product really works because I couldn’t get it in properly. They need to figure out a method that actually works. What a waste of money.

Used this product and it worked great! Bv is very common with me and this did almost as good as taking an prescription. For those who are saying it made it worse, you either inserted it wrong or do not have a bv. You has to be something else for it to make it worse. All I can tell you is too study each std and there is more out there beside bv. It could be trichomoniasis(trich). Yes I would know because I have had it. And bv & trich have almost the same systems, but there is something trich carries that bv don't. This product works great and saved me the embarrassment of going to to the doctor.

I guess I must have had a mild case of bv because mine actually cleared up after i used the first suppository. But like with antibiotics i wanted to finish the whole thing. The only bad thing I have to say is when I first put it in for probably the first few hours it burns a little bit but it does get better. Also it says to wait at least a day to have sex and I didnt and found sex burned and I bled a little afterwards. I asked my gyno and she said that there may have been something in the formula that irritated my vagina and as long as the symtpms subsided I should be fine. But it's a great product to use if you dont like the cycle of antibiotics and then getting a yeast infection from said antibiotics.

Oh my gosh this is awesome! I was diagnosed with BV for the first time and didn't want to take antibiotics because it can cause yeast infections. So I started popping 90 billion cultures of womens probiotics for a couple weeks then ordered this and after 1 use, GONE! :) I had thick white discharge with a not so great smell and the smell was gone immediately. I will say as the suppositories melt there is some leakage but nothing crazy. Also what comes out will be oily, obviously but get up in there after a day or 2 and scoop out any excess. I promise it will not smell bad at all! Then put some coconut oil inside you, the lactic acid keeps the environment favorable for good bacteria. It's been 4 days and still no smell or discharge. I really only needed 1 but I used another after sex because semen changes your ph. Please do not douche! I was trapped in a cycle of douching and after being diagnosed 2 weeks ago I've stopped, tried these, take probiotics daily and use coconut oil and it's amazing in there now. I actually let my husbands fingers back up there for the first time last night. So get this now!!
