Perfect Combination Of Function And Value
I am so glad to have found these little jewels. I've used Plackers flossers for years and am impressed with their quality and economical price (they actually make the perpendicular flossers I can actually use; I can't get my back teeth without giving myself lockjaw with the standard kind!). So I had good expectations when I found these and was not disappointed.I have struggled with not so much grinding my teeth but with pressure, clenching at night. I discovered this the hard way about a decade ago when I had to have two very expensive root canals due to subterranean (haha, my term for periodontal) cracks that showed up with agonizing suddenness. After dealing with that situation, I obviously began using one of the name brand standards that you boil and fit, which actually worked very well until it wore out after maybe a year or so. I really liked and had a great experience with that one. However, my attempts to form another one did not work for some reason, I think due to some teeth shifting and change in my bite following the root canals. And when I did form one, I was uncomfortably aware of it and couldn't fall asleep due to the distraction.I tried about every other economical version on the market, but couldn't find one that either worked or was comfortable enough to stay with. I didn't want to invest in a super expensive custom professional one unless absolutely necessary. So I felt some hope when I stumbled across these on Amazon when shopping for some other dental products. At the price I figured they were definitely worth a shot. I was tired of wasting money on things that didn't work.I was pleasantly impressed and relieved. They are VERY lightweight and comfortable. They have flexibility to adapt to my bite without tension and discomfort. And basically feel like wearing a comfortable broken-in pair of jeans or shoes. Perhaps the only negative thing I have to say, based on other reviews, is that they may not work well for everybody since every body is different in shape and size. They do tend to run a little on the small side. It may be an asset in the sense that they take up as little space as possible. For me they separate and cushion my teeth enough to do the job. But they may not extend back far enough for some. Another consideration is clenching versus movement. I need primarily the cushioning and vertical separation and don't really grind. Grinding could probably cause them to dislodge fairly easily.Just because they're disposable doesn't mean they can't be used for a good while. Another reviewer mentioned about cleaning them between uses. Absolutely! Because of their lightness and flexibility they will eventually wear out. But with the price, fantastic comparative value. I plan on staying with these. They've given comfort, protection, and peace of mind in preventing the prospect of another fractured tooth. Weirdly, I actually look forward to popping them in at night. I hope this helps someone. Certainly worth giving a try and may just be a good solution. Anything to cut down on dental problems and expense!(As an aside, I have to put in a plug for the toothpastes with hydroxyapatite. I've experienced good results with those for dealing with periodontal deterioration, sensitivity, and mitigating softening enamel.)

Comfortable to wear; excellent performance
I initially tried one of those bite guards that you heat up in the microwave (or in boiling water) and mold it to your teeth. It was very uncomfortable and didn't work well. Before spending the big bucks to get a custom one, I tried these. I'm very glad I did -- these are easy to use, comfortable to wear, and work very well to alleviate problems caused by my tooth grinding. While these are billed as disposable after three uses, I get weeks of use out of each one before it needs to be replaced. I wash it in the morning and store it in a small container filled with mouthwash (an alcohol-based one).I position it on my upper teeth. The cross band in the front doesn't cause any gum irritation, and keeps the guard in place while I'm sleeping. I've yet to have it get dislodged during the night. My only regret is that I didn't start using these decades ago before my grinding caused all the wear on my teeth and jaw. These have been performing very well and the price is excellent -- five stars.

Can help with sensory input for jaw alignment
Small and slightly too thick for my use which is not grinding, but aligning my jaw from messed up teeth groove alignment per the dentist.I do not know the material or if it releases plastics.

Small and Pretty Comfortable
Hello Fellow Teeth Clinchers and Grinders. To make this review simple I will use a Pros and Cons format.PROS:1) There are 10 mouth guards in the box I bought for less than thirteen dollars.2) Multi-Night use. The box says up to 3 times.. I get an average of 7-10 nights worth out of 1.I wash w/soap in the a.m. and squirt with hydrogen peroxide then store in the little container it comes in.I could probably use these more nights, but they do get softer, more pliable with repeated use and with me, when they get this way I wake up without it in my mouth. Incredible that some users report using 1 for a year!3) Small compared to other guards I've used, so Comfortable.4) Option of lower or upper teeth position. I can only use upper though, freaks me out with it on my lower, seem to 'float' around.5) BPA FREE.CONS:1) Crazy packaging..super clumsy plastic case that's way too big to hold 10 small guards.2) The actual small 'guard holder' is not so easy to open, especially late at night, with its flimsy aluminum peel back tab. Annoying.I still give the product 5 stars because it's Great !!UPDATE: January 4, 2019Almost one year later and I'm still as happy as someone who needs a night guard can be. I'm also now very good at getting the small guard container open, just took a few packets of practice. This brand won't be a winner for everyone, but for me, it's the best. I tried another brand that had a ribbing that bothered my tongue, so I came right back to these.I read a couple of reviews that said this guard doesn't stay in place, but I found if I just put it in my mouth, close my mouth then relax and go to sleep, it works very well. I don't try to wear them to eat, to talk, to go to the store, or ummm, anything else ;)Still 5 stars after nearly a year of use!
