Baby Take a Bow

I purchased this movie because it is one of my favorite Shirley Temple movies. Not disappointed in the least! :) It also features playing in B/W and Color! I had only seen it in the colorized version, and was glad I was able to see it in its original version. :)

It had a good storyline. It brought a smile to my eye. She will be missed. Good movie. Great actress.

I am a great fan of Shirley Temple and this DVD was a real find as it was very clear and the sound track was good also. I would recommend this product.

For those who may not have liked Shirley Temple's short films I would recommend watching this movie.It gives the very young Shirley Temple the chance to show how well she could sing, dance and act.Plus it has a great cast: (James Dunn) as Shirley's father, an ex-con who is trying to redeem himself by working hard and going straight.Next (Claire Trevor) as Shirley's loving and caring mother. She always makes time to play with Shirley.(Ray Walker) plays the close friend of Shirley's father and mother. He is also an ex-con gone straight.Last of all (Alan Dinehart) as the annoying private detective Welch. He does all he can to get money. Shirley and her family take great joy in making his life miserable.I love the song "On account I love you" sung by Shirley and James Dunn. Shirley looks very cute in that ballet dress.This was Shirley's first important full length movie role.

Purchased for an elderly gentleman friend.He is very pleased with it.Perfect condition .Recommend product.

Bought this for my daughter who had expressed an interest in the smoking ad where Shirley Temple sings "On accounta I love you". Really enjoyed this film, took me back to my youth. Good condition.
