Size:Medium 12''X72'' | Color:Frozen Light Blue Why is headlight protection so valuable ? It has been estimated that on average 1 out of every 6 automobiles will require headlight replacement due to damage from road debris. Replacing headlight components can be an expensive and time consuming process, the average headlamp set costs $450 to replace. Plastic headlights tend to dull and lose their transparency, glass headlights tend to break and fracture as they wear. what tools do I need for install headlight tint? Vinyl Squeegee (Credit Card /w cloth wrap will work) Soft Cloth Towel Spray Bottle with soapy water Hair Dryer or a Heat Gun How to Install Headlight and Tail Light Tint film? 1. Clean the surface of the Headlight or Tail light with soap and water to ensure all debris are removed from the surface of the Tail Light. 2. Carefully remove the Overlay from the sheet and spray the overlay's adhesive side with Soap and Water. The Soap and Water will prevent the Overlay's adhesive from sticking while you apply it the Tail Light. 3. Carefully apply/align the Overlay on the Tail Light and smooth out as much crease as possible by using your fingers. Use the vinyl squeegee to push out all the soapy water on the front face of the Tail Light. The more soapy water you push out the less bubbling there will be. Note: Make sure the crease are evenly distributed on the Overlay, therefore you can easily smooth it out with a heat Gun and Squeegee. 4. Carefully pull and fold the side inward. If necessary, use the hair dryer to soften up the vinyl and squeegee out all the crease. 5. Heat up the excess vinyl (heating up the vinyl will soften it and makes it easy to trim) and trim. Note: Don't worry if you over stretch the vinyl. Any excess vinyl protruding can be easily removed using a brand new exacto knife.

Unusable
I'm actually in awe of how poorly this arrived. It was rolled with no support inside, completely flattened & shoved into a soft envelope to ensure the folds would crease forever. After rolling it out this thing looked like an accordion with DEEP creases every couple of inches which made unusable even for a single 7" motorcycle headlight because there wasn't 7 continuous inches that wasn't ruined by a permanent crease. Thought maybe heating it up to stretch a little would help but after 2 attempts there's just no way to get the creases not to visibly show on the headlight because it won't adhere flat & leaves a line of air you just can't get out. Total waste of time & money. This is a no-brainer and seller should know better, especially after hearing about these issues in the past. Choose another seller that handles their product more responsibly.*Pics are after rolling it flat & applying heat with a heat gun for several minutes & failing to remove creases.

Excellent.
Great product. There is definitely a learning curve so buy more than you will need. I applied this to my tail lights. By the time I was done with the first application I had a much better feel for the process. I will remove it and reapply. My tail lights are quite difficult to cover because they run up the whole back of my car so I need to cut the tint in order to turn a corner. Once I learned exactly where I should make the cut it was so much easier.I saw a lot of people complaining about how it was shipped. The seller listened and fixed the issue. The packaging was great. They put a styrofoam stick in the center and held it closed with a zip tie. See attached photo.A tip *** Use lots of soapy water. Lots and lots. And continue to spray it on throughout the application process. Clean the headlights so there is no dirt or residue. Then spray the whole head or tail light with the soapy water. Peel the film off the tint and spray the tint with the soapy water (There is film on both sides of the tint. Make sure you peel the film off the sticky side and spray). (Keep the top layer of film in tact for now as it will protect the tint from getting scratched as you are manipulating and stretching it) Place the film in place with your hand and rub and stretch it with your hand so you remove most of the bubbles. Next, use your tool (credit card w/ cloth wrapped around it or something similar) to further remove any bubbles. If you find you need to lift and adjust the tint go ahead and do so but make sure to respray the light and tint. Now cut the film so it is the right shape and size. Now with the tint the right size you should be able to push all the bubbles out from under the tint. Before you move on to the next step, try to get the tint as near to perfect as possible. Once you apply the heat it becomes more difficult to push any water out from underneath the tint. Next, grab your heat gun, turn it on a low setting and hold about 8 - 12 inches from the surface of the light. You will see the vinyl start to adhere like shrink wrap around the light. Don't over heat or the tint will bubble up or become dis-formed when you are stretching it.. Lightly continue to press the bubbles out with your tool. You will get a feel for when you should remove the heat. And continue to remove the bubbles and applying heat as needed. Once you are satisfied you have removed all the bubbles, remove the top layer of film from the tint. You're all done. Again, this takes practice so be prepared to have to apply more than once until you get it right.I will update with more pictures once I get it perfect.

Works Well
Works well. I'm no professional tinter or anything so I don't know how it compares to competing products. I bought it to tone down some LED video lights. For this purpose, it works great. Another reviewer said it's hard to tell which side is the adhesive one. I'm not sure what s/he was thinking. It's really obvious. One side has a clear backing that needs to be peeled off, the other doesn't. Wasn't a fan of the packaging, just came in some bulk, non-retail plastic sleeve.Would buy again if I ever need some yellow tint.***My Rating Criteria***Build Quality(47.5%) - 5.0 StarsEfficacy(47.5%) - 5.0 StarsPost-Sale Support(0.0%) - n/aPackaging/Presentation(5.0%) - 1.5 StarsWeighted Average(100.0%) - 4.8 Stars

Well packaged, fast shipping, quality film.
I wanted to write this review as soon as I got this headlight tint because unlike some older reviews, my headlight tint was rolled up neatly and shipped in a proper sized box. Also, the box included an application tool and razor knife that was shown in the product photos but not promised in the description, so I was impressed by that.I have bought super cheap tint from Wish and expensive tint from LaminX, and this is just as quality (clarity, thickness, adhesion) as the more expensive stuff. Also, from the day I ordered until the day it arrived was 10 days, which was actually 2 weeks sooner than promised delivery, so I’m very impressed with shipping time as well. This price is an amazing deal.

Used for bowfishing, worked great
Used this to cover the lights on my bowfishing boat. They cut down the fog reflection that would usually make things very hard between 12 and 2am, and made it easier to see in cloudy, wavy water. Would highly recommend. Stays on tight and will not come off for years to come by the looks of it.

You get what you pay for!
You get what you pay for!Read the comments and reviews, they’re all true.If you are up for the task of installing these on your own then do it! I ended up installing them on my dog lights. One layer made the lights look green, so had to do a second layer to at least look partially yellow.Light output wasn’t effected much. It was easy to install with water and a hair dryer. They however didn’t last long and the heat on my fog lights made them bubble up, harden and peel and I had to peel them off. I ended up taking them off. I’m glad I have more from the roll so I can re apply.
