Brightness
The light fitting is nearer to the ceiling than I thought it would be. The light it throws out is ample for us and is soft on the eyes. The shades fit into the palm of your hand and are a diamond web of black wire and crystals.

Cheaply made item, heavily overpriced. Chrome part is the worst in terms of appearance and finsih.
Was expecting something beautiful but unfortunately this came up as a usual made in China very poorly made item. The chrome part has been awfully welded and the chrome finish is so poor that I have a difficulty to call it polished chrome. £85 must be a triple price for this item. I have seen similar prices from Homebase for half of this price and did not buy that one. This one was online purchase which has now been returned.
