I like the smooth swabs for clean up details on makeup and brows esp the fine tip (and easily wiped clean on tissue) without wasting disposable Qtips and no cotton fuzz on lash/face. The nubby swabs are ok for ear “clearing,” not so much for cleaning wet ears after shampooing. On Amazon, the nubby swab options are more available than the smooth ones. I would buy the smooth ones as gifts if more options were available. The plastic containers are nice but could be more streamlined.I am trying to have more re-useable items for the environment’s sake but dismayed by mfr’s excessive packaging and shipping materials. Love the reusable versions of cotton rounds, floss holder, straws, bags/glass containers etc; and dryer balls; bar version of soap, lotion, shampoo/conditioner, dish soap; concentrated mouthwash, pure detergent like Nellie or Beedman etc. also being careful of leaching plastic into ocean by avoiding face masks that rolls off skin. It just takes some thought and planning to bring reusable containers to restaurants for leftovers and bags for shopping, get off junk mail lists, opt for paperless statements/receipts/files, plan errands to drive less, etc.

These have little nubbies that can actually get the gunk out of crevaces. Nice plesant surprise I wasn't expecting. If you used the cotton swabs to kinsa dry out your ears after a shower, a bit of cloth around these will do the trick.

I really only use cotton swabs to touch up or remove my eye makeup and I was really hopefully this would replace them. Sadly, so far, it's not great. The make-up remover doesn't stay on the swab enough to really do anything useful. Also, one of the tips popped off the first time I cleaned it. I'm still trying to find a good use for these... Maybe in crafting they'll be good to use with paints or something...

the tips are bigger than I was expecting, the cases make it difficult to get the swabs in and out, and there's a lot more plastic involved than I was expecting. Only the tips are silicone and they feel like they might slide off if Im not careful. It works well enough, although you need water to rinse them off. you can't just wipe them clean on a tissue or a cloth.

So far so good. Our family is trying to do as much as we can to minimize our disastrous impact on the earth. These clean very well, the containers seem sturdy, though we’ve only had them for a couple of weeks. The tips that have the little “nubs” on them are more difficult to clean, you’ll probably need to scrub them with a brush of some sort. I like that they are all of a different color too, so it’s easier for our kids to tell which one belongs to whom.

Finally received. a little tricky to open at first, but then realized i was trying to open in wrong direction. :PLooks pretty and feeling good on skin with first usage, clean is also very easy. The fancy colors are really a pro so girls can pick up their own one.

I will start off by saying I have been using these for almost a year now and have really liked them. It gets the majority of wax out of my ears and works best after a steamy shower otherwise a lot of wax gets left. My only complaint is that I have had a fear since I got them that the ends would pop off in my ear since they aren't secure. Sure enough that happened and it was scary having something stuck in your ear that you can't get out. If the company can maybe glue the ends on it would be perfect, but until then it is a safety hazard customers needs to be aware of. I just popped mine off and glued them so it hopefully doesn't happen again.

My main concern is that the swab head (the tip) came off while using it. If it had come off in my ear or other orifice, I'd probably would have gone to the emergency room. They should consider make it a single, whole piece of silicone instead of a separate tip that may come off. Love the idea, but the implementation needs work.
