This Bag Seems to be a Really Great Product!
I haven't had it long enough to say how it will hold up but, upon first impressions, it is a darn good alternative to the more expensive options. Expensive doesn't necessarily mean better. If you value your money, I would highly recommend this camera/weekender/daily commuter backpack. The materials are heavy duty-thick without the weight, even when filled. The removeable camera bag compartment is handy and despite what other reviews may have shared, it is NOT difficult to reconfigure the compartments within the compartment. I have a Canon 60D with 3 lenses and other accessories in the compartment. The extended top portion holds a lot! I do not have much in that upper area but, you can take out the divider and use the entire bag for anything! It really is fantastic. The bag comes with additional straps; one of my pictures shows that I attached them to the bottom of the bag to be used for my tripod which, is 18 inches when not in use. You can you the side pocket, I have a picture of that too but, I prefer to use that for a water bottle. My tripod has its own bag so, I am not concerned about it being underneath. I have already tested it and, it functions just fine. Those same straps can be used on the back of the bag, as the sellers pictures display if you choose the crisscross option. It also comes with a cover, which I did not include in my photos. It will not fit over the entire bag if, you have to use the upper expansion portion however, it will cover the bag when the upper part is folded down. One thing about the cover, it would be better if, it were attached to the backpack so that you don't have to think about it possibly falling off but, this is such a minor thing that it doesn't mater. The magnetic closure is wonderful. The only suggestion I would say for future upgrades is to use magnetic closures for the carry handles (this may need approval since it would be in direct competition with another brand) but, the strong Velcro may not last a long time.To close, I was a bit concerned that it was too big for me but now that I have the bag, not at all. If you don't need to carry around the entire bag, just take out the camera bag, it comes with its own strap and go!I am really pleased with this item! If you're on the fence, go ahead - get it!12.29.2020 update:This company goes above and beyond. I requested to return the bag I have for their new design, it was too long a time period for that but they sent me their updated version anyway! I've attached pictures of the back portion which of completely accessible and works great. I plan on using this when I can travel, this is not an everyday bag. Once my gear is packed, it can weigh down the bag, as with any but, it's size, due to the upper compartment, adds to the weight. It is a very sturdy, solid bag with plenty of storage. You can modify the main section for your camera gear and although there is no longer a pull out bag, as with the original design, I really don't miss it. The side zipper offers more space, whereby I can have my dslr with battery grip attached and, my 100-400 lens attached as and no problem to pull out! Excellent! It's a great product and the company, I cannot say enoughI have not been compensated for my review, other then receiving another bag.

Great value and stylish, but not perfect.
I bought four camera backpacks and chose to keep this one. I like the side access for camera and lenses and also the top access for sweatshirts and stuff. The rolltop snaps shut with a nice magnet and allows for flexibility of storage amount. Side pocket holds water bottle or tripod. Materials are premium. The laptop storage is good. Padding on back is good. There are lots of little pockets for extra batteries and things. I used scissors to enlarge one little pocket inside because this backpack lacks “medium” size pockets. That’s one thing I miss. Another complaint I have is that they added the “bumpy” padding to the inside of the straps in an attempt to make it more comfortable, but the bumps are too hard and so they dig into your shoulders. After a little while you get used to it. No camera backpack is perfect. This one is good for casual day tripping or casual flights. It’s super stylish and premium feeling. One requirement I had was that the pack must have a strap on the part that touches your back so it can be securely placed on top of a rolling carry on luggage bag securely, and thankfully this bag has that. Also great price. I give it an A- and still best bag out of all 4 that I bought under $100.

Durable, waterproof, and pretty ergonomic-- very few complaints
I wanted to wait until I had put this through the wringer before writing a review. It has survived several intensive trips, so now I am ready to tell all.I spent a lot of time shopping around for a bag. I do a lot of traveling and I do a lot of photography, but I also enjoy the ability to stuff as much stuff as possible into my bag. I looked at bags by Peak, which I loved online but didn't love them as much in person because they had a weird clip and the fabric seemed kind of weird. I also looked at Lowepro. They were ugly but functional and got good reviews. I also looked at Vanguard but I opted against them because I couldn't tell how big their bags actually were, given that there was a huge range and some of them seemed outlandishly enormous, but they all look the same in photos. Finally, I looked at a bunch of Brand X ones on Amazon. I don't mess with the "straight-from-China" products most of the time because it's nearly impossible to get warranty or support issues settled, and Amazon has taken to giving me grief when I raise questions about warranty issues. But this one got good reviews and the price was right.Ergonomics: The bag is fairly comfortable even with a heavy load, though it doesn't have the featherlight feel on your back that my Ortlieb Packman 2 does. It still has a bunch of great straps that allow you to tie down a tripod or attach whatever else you want, perhaps a jacket, sleeping bag, drone, I dunno. The straps feel quite durable. When the top is really full, it is impossible to close the strap, and I read this complaint in another review. My solution is to not pack it quite as full. You can't exactly go grocery shopping with this bag. There is an EXCELLENT feature that lets you unzip the rolltop section without unrolling it. This my Ortlieb does NOT have, and it is an amazing feature for things like a sunglasses case or a jacket that you need to quickly extract but don't want to unroll the top. The clip is pretty heavy-duty steel, and has a magnet.Space: The camera case itself fits my 6D II with any lens on it. It does not, however, fit all of my lenses, and the divider isn't really that functional. That's fine, because it can fit what I need, and anything else I can fit in the top rolly part. Fully stocked, I can fit the camera, three lenses, a laptop, Kindle, small notebook, microphone, packable jacket, tripod, filters, batteries, and a water bottle. It *may not fit* under seats in commercial airliners when full, but only barely if it doesn't fit.Water resistance: So far, so good-- survived a rainstorm in New Orleans and one in LA and a snowstorm in Michigan.Complaints: The laptop sleeve *barely* fits my 2012 MacBook Pro, and it feels as though I have to squeeze it in when the rest of the bag is full. There is also a quirk with the top pack portion where when you put stuff in it, it can get smooshed down in between the compartments, so it's actually possible to lose stuff inside the bag. Plan ahead and this is far less likely to happen. The sort of tote strappies on the top velcro together and they're very nice, but I am unconvinced they will hold up terribly well over time. We will see!
