Great for acoustic isolation of heavy items
I used three of these very firm foam blocks to support and acoustically isolate a heavy window air conditioner from the custom wood platform it sits on. The vibrations from the running AC compressor are no longer conducted through the platform and into the wall and window frame. Even though the unit weighs 90 pounds, there is only a small amount of deformation or compression of the foam, which is exactly what I wanted. The foam blocks were the perfect size and thickness for my application, so only one cut was required. The material cuts easily and pretty cleanly using a sharp utility knife and straightedge. The adhesive side of the foam is extremely sticky and adhered well to the relatively rough plywood surface to which it was applied. The non-adhesive side is embossed with a fine diamond tread and makes for a grippy (non-skid) surface. Finally, there is no discernable odor.

I wanted to like these, but...
These are just hacked out pieces of tempur pedic like foam almost an inch thick. It has thin cloth like surface. The edges are rough and unfinished. It was difficult to get the paper off the adhesive without pulling the adhesive sheet off the foam. The wall I put them on was recently painted and very clean. The adhesive is weak and the edges would not properly adhere and now there are visible gaps. Being very thick, it will be a super dust collector. Opening a car door into them, even gently, leaves forever indentations in the surface. These things should sold at the dollar store and they'd still be overpriced. They are ugly and stick out so far that people's clothes catch on them when squeezing by. I'll be making my own.

Protect your car doors AND your garage walls !!!
We have a new car and I wanted to protect the door edge from the wall on each side of our garage. These have a dense foam that really does work. The backing to “un-stick” the paper is a little hard to get off, but starting in the long side middle seemed to work for each piece. This sticky backing IS sticky. I wanted to lift it and move a little and it lifted the drywall! Fortunately it was such a small move of about 1” the foam still covered the spot of the dry wall I tore. These really do work!!

Thick foam pads
Who'd think you'd pay for small rectangles of foam? Well, these are worth it if you're wanting to save your garage walls from door dings. I bought another set for my hanging bicycles so the tires and handlebars don't mark up the walls too. The adhesive however, is strong, and if you decide to remove or relocate these once installed, you're likely to have glue reside to scrape up, so consider that over wall dings, whichever is easier for you to repair. I cut small pieces of 'Alien-tape', and stuck it to the corners, and this way, no adhesive is making contact with my walls (except the small pieces of tape), so I can move them or remove them without any damage to my walls. These are also thicker than some of the other ones available, so they can take a pretty good hit with a car or truck door.

Protects garage wall from trash cans, cars and more.
Our garage wall was getting dinged every time we returned the garbage cans. Fortunately, these stiff foam wall protectors were super easy to install. Just peel, align and adhere. They are not readjustable and will take the paint off if you don’t plan ahead, so be sure to measure and draw a straight line or use your iPhone level for perfect positioning. Very thick, sturdy and long enough for the trash can even stop a heavy car door.

Decent wall protection from most car doors
Got this to protect one side of my garage wall from dings from opening car doors too far.Application was simple and adhesion was great (didn't peel at all during a recent heat wave that really kicked up temps in the garage for days on end)Only minor gripe is that it's narrow enough to not allow a single pack to protect both front and rear passenger doors from hitting the wall depending on the shape of your car doors. I only noticed this when my wife brought home a loaner vehicle while her regular vehicle was being serviced. The rear passenger door ended up hitting outside of the padded area because of the shape of the door (obviously it's not the products fault, but something to think about if you have multiple cars or shuffle your cars around in the garage)I may end up buying a few more packs or get a longer/larger protector that spans a longer length (worried that seams left by applying multiple smaller protectors will leave weak points that car doors can get into and end up hitting the wall anyway)Just something to keep in mind when buying these or any other protectors.

Works but not for long (Fixed)
Not sure if I got a defective unit but one foam piece fell off the wall after just two weeks. The adhesive is still on the wall so it’s not an issue with the wall being dirty before installation. I made sure to clean the wall before installing just as the instructions stated. The other foam piece has held up fine. It is thick enough that I have no doubt it will prevent damage to my car door. Now I’m outside of the return policy and can’t return it :/Edit: I reached out to the seller and they sent me a new set. So far it's working well. Increasing the star rating to 4.

Protects as it's meant to
Super easy install on garage wall.Be sure to mark the range where doors will contact wall, and mark proper height for particular door (front and rear doors may contact at different level). The kids LOVE this, as they don't have to be as careful not to ding car doors getting in and out on wall side. The white set blends very well with white walls.I'd definitely recommend this to others.

Sturdy and well made
I had wanted something to protect the tail-gate of my VW when backing into my drive. There isn't any margin for error - to get the car off the street and to avoid its bonnet projecting into the pavement I have to back up to my front wall and rest on it. Gave these a try even though they are for inside a garage and I am using them out-of-doors in the soggy NW of England. Stuck well, laid horizontally to the bottom of my stone window sill and they have saved the car from scratches or damage (albeit I reverse in very slowly !!) After about twelve months one began to loosen slightly, which is hardly surprising given the regular rain and constant pressure from the car reversing in, but a thin layer of mastic and twenty-four hours later they were good as new and still holding up strong. Very pleased.

Forget the rest, buy the Best !!!
These have to be the best car door protector pads I've ever bought, they are a higher density foam, more resilient than many other products. it's not just that though, the self adhesive is really strong, these pads won't fall off the wall, add to that the diamond pattern really looks good, so it's 5 stars PLUS from me.As ever it's "buyer beware" some similar pads are advertised as "foam" but when you get them they are more like "sponge" little if any resistance to impact. These pads are high density yet flexible enough to protect car doors, well worth the money.I sent in an technical enquiry about the product, within hours the seller had responded. So It's 5 Stars for the product with a Plus thanks to the responsiveness of their Customer Service. Can't fault the product and the Customer Service is "second to none."

Absolutely perfect for the job intended!
Great quality, I’ve put one in the garage & one on the wall of the house on the driveway. I was concerned the one outside would not stick very well but I pushed it on with a decent push to make sure it’s as stuck to the wall as possible & it’s been up for a few months now through all the bad weather we’ve had & it looks the same as the day I took it from the packet! Really well worth the money!

May require additional fixings
I used this outdoors, stuck to brickwork. Very sticky adhesive, and even though I cleaned off the brickwork, pad still became detached after a while. Ended up using screws and washers to hold up. However, very pleased with thickness of pad.
