so good. I have not experienced any rash or burns ...
I have been using this lotion for thee and a half weeks now while I undergo radiation therapy. So far, so good. I have not experienced any rash or burns and my skin is in good condition. Only time will tell as a finish up the next three and a half weeks. It is very cooling and pleasant and does not have any unpleasant odors or feeling to it. It is pricey and I do alternate using it with the lotion provided by my radiologist.

I found miaderm to be a good moisturizer but due to a rash I had to use hydrocortisone cream first.

you will like this product
My oncologists recommended this product and mentioned that she heard it was less expensive at Amazon. I am about to start my 3rd week of radiation and this is working well so far. Get enough so that you can be liberal with applications. No stains on my clothing, no greasey feel while using, pleasant aroma, silky feel and fast absorbing. I got it in less than 2 days and was very happy as I didn't have the energy to head out to a store. Thanks Amazon

I love this cream
This product worked very well for my skin. I wasn't able to use it the whole treatment period because my skin was too bad (2nd degree radiation burn). Since my skin has healed I'm using it again and it makes a big difference. Better than alovera cream.

Highly recommended!
My partner went through a rigorous regimen of 33 radiation sessions over a period of 7 weeks, with a target dose for his neck tumor of 7,000 centiGray, I applied Miaderm radiation relief three times a day in the affected area, with excellent results. In some point during the treatment the skin turned red as in a sunburn, but never broke or developed lesions and in fact improved in appearance while the treatment was still ongoing. I highly recommend this product.

Be careful, I reacted to this and most lotions don't bother me
If this is your first time using this, don't order two. I did and now I have a whole tube I can't use. I used this from the beginning of bc radiation. I seemed to get a rash and my skin became raw within a couple of weeks of using it. I thought it was the rads and so did my doctor. At week four he said it looked more like a reaction to the cream than radiation. I discontinued use and things got better. I am not usually sensitive to creams, I don't remember ever breaking out from one. I normally use whatever brand of OTC lotion I pick up without problems.

Wished I hadn't bought the two pack. Expensive cream and I'm not sure it helped at all. Now I'm stuck with a tube I never opened. If you're getting whole pelvic radiation for a gyn cancer I'd suggest getting a prescription for Silvadene cream for your burned bum and use the free Aquaphor samples your office can give you. This cream did not prevent the burns nor did it provide any relief. Smells OK.

Maiderm - Fantastic Results
This lotion does exactly what it claims to do and more! It is well worth investing in before starting your radiation treatment. What is so great is that it is a light lotion that is absorbed immediately into the skin and does not leave you skin greasy just beautifully moisturized and nourished.I am so grateful that I have used Miaderm through my radiation treatment as I have no burning or blistering and my oncologist even commented on how great my treatment area looks.
